Employees of this facility needs to be trained well or get fired. No knowledge of what customer service is all about. Too bad, i am a nearby business. I could have given them a lot of business but instead they choose to be rude and push their customer away. I hope somebody from papa johns read this review because that store really needs new employees that has great customer service. Food is good but poor customer service leaves a bitter taste in customers mouth.

Great pizza at good price. Perfect for summer times! Right, don’t forget buglights when eating by the pool. :)

Ordered delivery and was changed a delivery fee, which was not disclosed when I ordered. I live 2.3 miles from the store… The person I spoke to on the phone em had zero patience, and could not sound more condescending. Also, my pizza looked a complete mess, cheese had slid off to one side… Thank you Papa Johns for taking pride in your business, food, and customer service. 1 star for the store, one star for the pizza, because the half that still had cheese on it still tasted good.

Evil company cheats employees out of over time pay… they literally had to be taken to court in a class action lawsuit & be forced to pay… Don’t waste you money by supporting this vile company.

Honestly when I called I asked if I could redeem something but I really meant credit and I asked if I could redeem something and he said«no» and he didn’t even bother to explain why not or try to understand me. They just gave me attitude and all I got was attitude and I said«something» and he gave me attitude and started giving me examples of «something»

Pappa John needs to send his employees to a Customer Service Seminar. The specific employee I’m talking about wears glasses and works the cash register. He does not greet his customers and was rude to me and to the other customers. He probably treats his colleagues the same way. I felt uncomfortable when he asked me for my phone number so he can refer it to my phone order. Pappa John’s does give out a confirmation number to present to them when you pick up your order. Personal phone numbers should not be verbally said out loud in front of other customers. There’s no confidentiality there. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to this restaurant because of this guy. I hope someone from upper management reads this and really does something about this employee. They should send a secret shopper to see for themselves. Yes, I do work in a restaurant and I am big on customer service.

Customer service is horrible! We called in asking how I can use the Groupon that my mom bought and the older man with the Spanish accent told us to go online. We didn’t really understand what he meant by that so we asked him again and he said, «ILLTELLYOUONEMORETIME! YOUHAVETOORDERONLINE!» And then hung up. What is the point of being rude to customers??? If you call around 7:30PM on a Friday night and he picks up make sure to go to a different Papa Johns. Never buying pizza from this location ever again(I’m sorry to all the good workers here). I used to not believe in the bad Unilocal reviews that this location got but now it all makes sense.

The problem is Papa John’s makes a good pizza, I love the garlic dipping sauce so no matter how poorly I think of this place, I end up coming back. In this digital age, customer service is so important. Word of mouth spreads as fast as one can type and press send. This is why I don’t understand this place has always had such awful customer service. When I call, I am always put on hold, and never get a friendly voice. Sometimes, I’m hung up on! This time, I ordered online. No one greeted me when I came in, the cashier was rude and not personable. I wasn’t greeted, ever. On a good note, pizza was hot, exactly as ordered and expected, but like all of you, I work hard for my money so when I spend it, I at least like to be thanked for my business. Nope. Not here. Will try to avoid this place. Fortunately, there are better locations I can go to.

The manager at this location has the worst customer. Every time I call for the specials that are on line they always say that ended last month. I love papa johns pizza but I hate going to this location they are the WORST

I love papa johns and love their pizza for the price. Love the promotion deals, too. But jesus christ! The service here is just awful. They kept rushing me to order! Your order must be delivered within 20 seconds. It’s sad that there is no papa johns next to my place other than this branch.

I’ve been a loyal customer to the Baldwin Papa John’s for at least 4 years. We order at least three times, if not more, a month. I’ve never had an issue until today. I placed an online order, and picked it up at the store. I live far enough to give serious consideration before placing an order, especially during heavy traffic periods. I always order extra sauce. After the first few bites, it was obvious that the order was wrong. There was hardly any sauce at all. When I called to complain, I got an argument instead. No apology for the inconvenience. Miguel told me I was wrong! Really? I’m sitting in front of it, and you’re telling me I’m wrong. After letting him know I was going to send the corporate office an email, he said I could drive over to pick up new pizzas. Uh no. I drove there the first time. It was his mistake(He told me he made the pizza himself.). He finally relented, sans an apology, to send a driver, but only if I returned the pizzas. Hahaha. He obviously didn’t trust me, and why would I want the pizza? I prefer Papa John’s to other franchise pizza, but the poor customer service will keep me from ordering from the Baldwin location. Papa John’s is supposed to be a quick, enjoyable dinner. It’s been over an hour. We haven’t eaten, and I’m still angry about the way Miguel responded.

I like the kind and warm hearted Chinese server, he gave a lot of peppers and cheese bags. I really appreciate his service, will order pizza only from here. The manager is just like the rest branches, slow and let me wait forever. The manager even teased my name after seeing my pick up information. What a douche. The server should be the manager and the current manager should be fired.

* Service: I’m always put on hold when I call in, & usually have to repeat myself because they never seem to understand what I’m asking/saying. Whenever to ask for the day’s specials, they’ll mention a pretty good cheap deal. But when I order that special, they’ll jack up the price +$ 5 for«taxes/delivery/tip». They’ve forgotten to include garlic sauce & banana pepper a few times, which is a MUST have for me & is the ONLY reason I go here. Also, wait time is longer than most, but I guess that’s okay. **** Food: When my sauce & pepper are included, food is bomb bomb bomb!

Tried to order a large pizza with half pepperoni half black olive. And asked if the could put jalepeno on two pieces. He said no. Two toppings maximum. I even offered to pay extra. The guy told me if we do it for you this time we have to do it every time. Well duh! I order my pizza this way @ pizza hut. @ little ceasars @ dominos. I have kids. That want certain toppings on their slices. I guess papa johns way of trying to make extra money. They thought I would order another pizza. Sorry papa John’s I went to dominos. And just think you were almost to 3 stars.

Whoever told Papa John he needed to change the recipe to his pizza lied to him and should be fired or banned from his inner circle. I don’t know who in their right mind told him to fix something that wasn’t broken, but he changed it and I don’t like it. Papa John’s got me and my fellow Marines through many drunken nights because it was opened the latest and delivered to base when stationed down in San Diego, and it was always delicious the next day, even if it was sitting out all night! Since we’ve been eating clean, yesterday was our cheat meal and the first thing that came to mind was Papa John’s. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. The two stars is actually for the service, which was really 4 stars, but averaged out to two. I called for pick up from down the street and they said it would take 20 minutes. 5 minutes later, I was there, and 3 minutes after that, I had my pizza! Their wings weren’t too bad though to be quite honest. We opted for the Habanero Honey ones and the flavor of the sauce was really good. Not spicy at all, but very tasty. Only negative of the wings is they were on the small side. And we’re talking about wings here. Which are small already.

A lot of make-your-own pizza places popping up, but Papa John’s is still my favorite pizza place for delivery. Pizza is always delivered on time. They have a lot of deals online so check for coupons ahead of time.

Back in the 80s, my uncle owned a family pizza business. Four years, he did very well with a dedicated following of customers. As a small mom-and-pop shop, his prices were reasonable… But then the big train pizza places came along, with their fancy delivery and two pizzas for $ 10 type deals. Try as he might to follow suit with delivery, deals, and bait and switch coupons, The writing was on the wall for him. Fast-forward 30 years, and there are a dozen different pizza joints to choose from… All with delivery, specials, and some big nationally televised promotion. Papa John’s certainly is no different. I do like, however, how they leverage their online app to order for carry out or delivery over the phone. No longer is there a need to attempt communication with a high school kid, after you have been placed on hold for a considerable amount of time. Just login, punching your order, and then either pick it up or wait for it to show up at your door. If you do a quick search of Google or your other favorite search engine, you will often find promotional codes that you can enter on the app or website for considerable cost savings. Most recently, I shared a tip that entering PJ40 in the promo code window will give you the option to order pretty much the entire menu at 40% off savings. The pizza arrived hot and delicious. We are a thin crust family, and Papa John’s does a reasonable job on that too.
