Shocked to come around the corner of Huntington to do our traditional pre-race stop at the 100 – 1 to find the place torn up, taped and boarded up!!! So sad to see it go, progress isn’t always an easy pill to swallow. Lots of memories, good laughs, and good drinks. Wish you well Brian! 100 – 1 will be missed.

We used to go to this place and had a great time. We went there a week ago and to our surprise the bar is permanently closed! No idea why, but I hope they soon re open in a different location. This bar will be missed :(

This is a great place. Came here for my friend’s birthday. They have karaōke and drinks are priced well. It’s an older crowd that is around their midthirties to forties. It was a hole in the wall bar that you could chill at and have a drink. Everyone is friendly.

This place is way too fun and a real dive bar. The drinks are awesome as well as cheap, the crowd is always friendly, and it has karaōke! They have a great karaōke song selection as well. Also, the karaōke is free! Its a little easy to miss because it’s on this weird corner in Arcadia but I would definitely come here for a good time. The bartender is super sweet and I just really enjoyed myself here. The place itself isn’t huge so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a MASSIVE crowd, but its definitely fun in small groups!

Dive bar across from the Santa Anita racetrack. Went there twice with my girlfriend and a buddy who is a vocal coach to try out the karaōke. EXTREMELYRUDE bartender who played favorites with a couple of the same karaōke singers we had heard on the first visit. Gave it a second try thinking the first had been an isolated incident. We left after my turn was bypassed by this bartender on more than one occasion, and our ears almost bleeding from hearing the same regular karaōke singers destroying song after song.

Dive bar accross from the Santa Anita race track. EXTREMELYRUDEBARTENDERS with an outdated karaōke system. Was there twice with my girlfriend and a buddy who is a vocal coach. Went there a second time believing the first had been an isolated incident. We went in to try the karaōke. However, more than once we were bypassed by the bartender, who played favorites with a couple of the regulars there who by the way almost made our ears bleed before we left.

Small, crowded and loud… a good place to hang out with friends, probably not a good choice for a date. Expensive, pretentious bars can be fun when you’re trying to impress someone, but if you just want to have some drinks and get rowdy, this is the place to go.

Terrible service. Blonde woman bartender with terrible highlighted hair job and saggy tits is so rude. One star for the karaōke because it’s cool!

Karaōke! Talk about a dive bar with live music(or live singers that is. hello Karaōke!), One hundred To One cocktail lounge is quite an interesting place to say the least, a place where people of every color, shape, age and size goes hob-nobbing for late night drinks and sounds. The place is alright, there are plenty of stools and bar tables for everyone, a good portion of bar tables are located closer to the Karaōke area, which I kind of figured is pretty much where the love birds also hang around. Drinks are OK and made pretty stiff, beers on tap or in bottles are available. The place is nothing fancy, no pretension, just your regular neighborhood cocktail lounge where friends could truly let loose and let their hair down. The place could get pretty loud at times, especially if someone decides to sing a song meant only for operatic soprano’s but nevertheless it’s fun to listen to as you just want to hear that moment when the notes starts to crack… lol kidding aside, the people brave enough to belt out their favorite karaōke tunes did not disappoint, after a few drinks and some pretty darn good karaōke singers, One Hundred to One Cocktail provided a night of fun with friends and a chance to catch-up with the week’s going on’s. Cheers!

I love a local dive with free karaōke every night. Drinks are cheap and string and the price doesn’t change from weekday to weekend which is a plus. friendly people relatively fast service bartenders are friendly and so is the crowd.

Very divey! The people you find her are total regulars. Very friendly and kind. Love listening to people sing after they have a couple of drinks and having a supper fun time. They have dart boards and such, but love how you know if the people are regulars or not by listening to how they greet each other. I love this place! Will come back with the boyfriend, next time.

Well, sad news, their Wednesdays Happy Hour menu changed and their band is gone. :(They no longer serve $ 2 any drinks, for example, Hennessys, Jack Daniel, Patrons, Grey Goose, basically you name it. Don’t be too sad, their happy hour time still from 5pm-8pm. The only difference now is well drinks are $ 2 and top shelf drinks are $ 4. That is still a great price for a dive bar. Do not forget that they have karaōke almost every night, no charge! Best thing ever! Darts and jukebox are available, but you pay(unless you’re lucky to find it paid already).

Can’t go wrong with $ 2.50 beer ! This place has probably been around since the beginning, this place is super old with dust collecting on the ceilings. I really appreciate that they have live karaōke and darts for some easy entertainment! Noting is wrong with honky donky dive bar with a cheap tab!

This used to be my stomping grounds for several years. It’s a dive bar, yes. But it is FUN! Singing and dancing, drinking and making friends. I miss going to the bar a lot! I hope everyone is doing well. Barbara, Jenny… and the whole gang! Miss you. Hey has Abner been in lately?

I’ve lived in Monrovia for two years and CANNOT believe I did not know about this place! It was literally right there, the whole time! The reviews are correct. STRONG drinks for CHEAP!!! Ordered a pineapple and Hennessy for only $ 4!!! Don’t expect a fancy lounge as it definitely more of a dive bar. This place may just be the place to go when you have friends in town who just want to hang out and drink!

Just had a Halloween Karaōke party here last night and everyone had a great time! The owner Bryan is one nice guy-accommodating and friendly-like someone I’ve known for years. Barbara the bartender is amazing. That lady can multitask! She can get everyone’s drink quick and still plug karaōke songs on the machine one after the other. Oh and her arms are weak(j/k), meaning she can’t keep those liquor bottles steady and end up pouring A LOT more(oh, we liked that!) Karaōke selection was great and the sound system Bryan was raving about was awesome too. What I loved about this bar(ok so far I loved everything) is that it’s a great simple, low-key bar. Just friendly people, cheap and strong drinks, and no pretentiousness. Definitely coming back and plan another party here. Oh ya: Double parking ok Bar gets busy and more fun after 9:30 pm (I started the party at 7 because it was a work party and it was a little dead at first)

This place may not look like much but it’s fantastic to go to for a good time. — Karaōke with a wide selection! I sang ABBA, U2, Mötley Crüe and The Partridge Family! They even had Destiny’s Child, Disney songs and Eminem ft. Rihanna. Pretty hip. The crowd also cheers you on, which is great. You feel like a rock star. — $ 3.75 for a gin and tonic!!! Drinks were so cheap. I’m pretty sure all of my friends spent no more than $ 20 on rounds and rounds of shots. — Cool people. The crowd is a mix of older people and younger people, all looking to have a great time and sing! — Cab service. My friends and I kept getting a voicemail when we called the local cab service and then magically, a cab swooshed into the parking lot, saving us from a drunken walk. The cab ride was cheap too, only $ 10.00! Bottom line: this is a great dive bar to take your friends to for karaōke and cheap, strong drinks! Stop on by!

Feeling blue at home and waiting for someone to invite me out, Jennifer H. read my mind somehow and told me to get my sorry butt to where she was. First thing I noticed when I got there was … parking is interesting. I told Jen that there was no parking but she said it is like that and to park behind her car. You basically move your car when someone needs to leave and believe me, people will go around asking since it’s a small place. It’s cool. I parked at the park instead since I love the park and don’t mind walking. With only 20 minutes left until Happy Hour ending at 8pm, I got Johnnie Walker Black shots for $ 2 each. Holy cow. YAAAAAAAY!!! I also got Jim Beam and Coke for 2 friggin’ dollars too! My friend is a regular and she said a lot of the drinks here are made really strong and after trying some of hers, I agreed. But I like it that way! After Happy Hour ended, the live band retired for the night and we were left with other patrons singing karaōke while we played darts. Prices after Happy Hour are really not that bad at all. I had a Glenlivet 12 on the rocks for $ 6.75(you can tell the price from the huge old register the bartender Barbara utilizes!). There’s definitely a sense of community here and everyone is incredibly nice(possibly owing to the drinks). This was definitely a fun night and made me forget my troubles for a while. Good company, good drinks… and you can bring your own food in. I can’t wait to go back with my friends!

I Hate Writing Reviews Like This. Finding the perfect dive bar is no easy task. The place has to be dark and grimy and have that distinctive dive smell, yet at the same time it has to be safe, cozy and feel like home. It’s like your favorite sweatshirt with the gaping hole in the armpit. You know it’s a hot mess but you still love it. So I move clear across town and I’m still trying to figure things out. I need to find a new drycleaner, car wash, super market and I couldn’t find a place to enjoy a drink and sing a few songs. Then I found 100 To 1. It really is just like finding a needle in a haystack. THis place is small, divey, and the karaōke machine is operated by the bartender with a remote control. Come early like me and dominate the damn mic for five or six songs in a row. No one will care. I’m afraid that if everyone discovers how cool and relaxed this place is that I won’t be able to sing anymore. $ 2 well drinks. Yes two dollars. Don’t tell anyone about this place. It’s mine.

You know! This is a true dive bar ! It was my first time here and I had a great time. The place is small, don’t serve food, BUT, they can grab you food from a local restaurant called peppers right across the street, they actually have good food when I used to go there past. At this place, make sure you look for their specials! 2 dollar drinks and all! Wednesday afternoon happy hour is ALL drinks at $ 2 a pop! Where else are you going to find that?!
