EXCELLENTBEYONDEXCELLENT!!! Food so wonderful, I nearly wept!!! Oh my gosh! WHAT a treasure this place is! Charming décor, fabulous service(our waiter was delightful!), and AMAZING food! I had the salad with grilled chicken and mandarin oranges — their homemade salad dressing was incredible! My husband had their signature sandwich with smoked turkey and horseradish Havarti cheese — he loved it. I also ordered a scone with clotted cream for my husband and I to split for dessert, it was sooo good(I’ve had them in England, and this could rival any English scone with clotted cream!) They’re open until 4:00, so they’re more for brunch/lunch than dinner. Great selection of sandwiches, salads, soup. I was struggling to decide what to order, there were about 3 things I just couldn’t make my mind up over they all sounded so great. Arcadia is about 40 minutes from where we’re staying in Bonita Springs, but I told my husband I want to go back there again before we leave here! Place is adorable — charming antiques — they have one huge antique piece(like a sideboard/cabinet) that’s gorgeous! If you’re anywhere near here — just GO!!!

Excellent crab salad, nice local Florida wine, and interesting décor. Young wait staff was friendly. Would go back.

Enjoyed a very good lunch today. The soup was excellent, the tuna sandwich was very good. The tea was very tasty and the scone was soft and very good. Our waitress was very nice and efficient!

Cute little tea room with very friendly service. Sandwiches, soups, quiche etc., Scones, bread pudding, with clotted cream. The house tea is delicious only complaint is that it should be served a bit hotter to steep. Other then that all four of us loved this place and will return!

My first time in with huge curiosity. Very busy here today and likely always is. So it took some for seating maybe… not sure but possibly 45min. Old world touch of attempting elegance for décor. And they did a nice fix. First dish is apricot dessert. Really good. Signature tea for drink with honey sweets as requested. Have ordered the tuna stuffed tomato. Anxiously awaiting that. Service is quite good with the very busy. I am lucky getting seated in rear area away from most of clatter n chatter. Ok… stuffed tomato is beautiful and fab

Our first visit to this establishment and have to say the lunch and service were very good. Being a Brit and going to a «Tea Room«one does expect a «good«cup of tea and we had no issue with the quality of the loose leaf but the tea was tepid at best. If one makes a cup or a pot of tea it should be hot — no make that boiling hot ! Will come again and«test the waters«once more.

While visiting Arcadia, I took my mother to lunch. I ordered the signature sandwich, which comes with cottage cheese or fruit. I was hungry so ordered both. The sandwich was good, the fruit was fresh, but the cottage cheese apparently had been sitting out for too long as it was at room temperature. Mom had a Hawaiian wrap, and felt there was too little meat and too much greens on her wrap. Our food took almost 30 minutes to be served. For sandwiches this is way too long. Her pot of tea was nice. We both had dessert. My scone was dry, but the house made lemon curd and the clotted cream served with it was good and spruced up the scone. Mom had bread pudding, which she felt was also dry. The waitress was pleasant during ordering; however, after clearing our plates she failed to return with our check. After waiting for over ten minutes, we went to the register to check out. Our waitress seemed harried and disorganized at the register,. Another waitress was speaking rudely to our waitress at the register, and bossing her to do something else while she was trying to ring us out. This second waitress was unprofessional in front of us to her co-worker, then was dismissive of us trying to check out. My mom had used the ladies room, which was out of tissue and hand towels. When Mom politely advised the second waitress of this, she gave my mother a roll of her eyes and said she would take care of it. Then she failed to thank Mom for advising her. The food here was average, the service was slow, and the wait time for sandwiches was too long. The second waitress was unprofessional to another employee in front of us, and I felt rude to us. This is a cute themed restaurant, and sadly it was a disappointing experience for us.

On my way from the east coast of FL to Venice on the Gulf, I stopped for lunch … knew there had to be at least one local place so i drove a few blocks off of Rte 70 and found this little café. It is on a street with interesting and authentic antique shops. Today was unseasonably cool and sunny and they had the dining area screened so I ate with my hoodie on but it was pleasant. Their menu is not fancy but has something for every taste. They have daily special quiches and soups. and of course a fair selection teas and bisquits. Reasonably priced. The waitress was very efficient and pleasant. The sandwich arrived in under two minutes! Everything is fresh and I would recommend it highly if you are in the area.

I am writing this review as an out-of-towner This place is a nice little joint for lunch, dessert, and of course; Tea. Dessert and Tea was certainly the best part of my meal. They have a good«english» selection of classic loose-leaf teas. Earl Grey, Hibiscus and other stuff. They earl-grey was fantastic, it is served in a pot and did not have that tanin-y dry feel to it that some bagged Earl-Greys have. Since it is served in a pot, you probably need to pull out the leafs when it is dark to your liking. The dessert was excellent, they seemed freshly made and a had a good selection to go with thier teas. Fresh baked scones and bread pudding things, and other baked yummy stuff. The lunch was only so-so, I would not come here if you are starving. But it does have some nice lighter alternatives to some of the heavier faire that is common in the area. I came to Arcadia for business, and after eating 5 consecutive meals of BBQ or Home-Style(read: Greasy) Southern food, this place was a pleasent suprize. If I had extra time I would certainly come here just for the desserts. Thanks,
