Don’t let the small size and«off the beaten path» nature of this place fool you. You wouldn’t expect such a small place to pack such huge flavors in their food but this place does it. Family run, these guys work hard to get the food out quick. The pizza is off the hook good. Without a doubt the best in the tri-county area. The steak and cheese subs are awesome as well. Open for breakfast as well but I haven’t been here for that yet. Don’t hesitate to stop if your in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Just move to the area from the city and decided to check this place out since it’s the closest place to get food near me and I like to support locally owned businesses. It’s a small but popular place as many people filtered in and out. I got a tasty Cobb salad with a fried egg on top and ordered my husband a Philly cheesesteak which he enjoyed. The food was also very reasonably priced, especially for the generous portions we received. The wait was a bit long for my food but I did a walk in order on a Friday evening; it looks as though you can order over the phone. There are a few small tables to sit at and enjoy your food indoors as well as outdoor seating which will probably be nice in the spring. The service was great and it appears to be a family owned business. The woman at the counter could not have been nicer and even offered me a free dessert for my wait. Will definitely be returning.

After finishing a lovely tour of the PA Bowen Farmstead, I was famished. This was the first place off the highway on the way back to DC, so I took a chance. You know how satisfying a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with pineapple coleslaw is when you’re starving? This place hit the spot. My hubs got 2 brats on a bun with kraut and mustard. Deliciously salty. Each of our meals cost $ 4.50. Excellent. There’s really good people watching here. Hunters in camouflage, farmers in work clothes, and lost-looking DC yuppies. Note to said yuppies who swing by: they do not sell bottled water here. You must have a soda. But what else would you wash down your salty carbs with, anyway?
