I wish there was a negative star option. We got here at 10:30 asked for a table for 7, the teenaged boy named Gabe, pointed us toward a group of tables that have been dirty, and seemed annoyed having to clean the table. Cleaning the previous dishes from this table took about 10 min, since he would grab one dish at a time, when I suggested using a tray might be faster depressed him even further, one the table was cleaned he just walked away, didn’t ask if we wanted waters, menu or even wipe the table off. There were two waitresses running around doing everything else by the looks of it. Another 15 min goes by and I had to get up to grab menus, we had tell both waitresses two times we are ready. It seemed very random on how they were doing their order taking, some tables were being seated right away and orders taken and others like ours just forgotten about, one table walked to the cash register and placed their order there.
Once we placed our order, it was another 40 min before we were served our food. I asked Gabe for some toast for my kids, which at this point had started to cry and wanting to leave. Gabe just walked back into the kitchen and out the other away pretending not to hear or see us.
Food was cooked well and presented properly, but the whole process left us with a feeling of not wanting to ever come back here out of sheer incompetence.
The elderly gentleman next to us said it best. If you get the lousy food but good service you are left with a good experience, but if you receive lousy service and good food you’re left with the lousy experience.
