This team is brilliant! Amazingly talented at how to enhance the way you look in a most natural way. And they are so gracious in identifying the priorities since I chose not to do everything at once. Now I have budgeted the treatments in a way that is comfortable for me and still get me the results I want. I have been utilizing aesthetic services for years and have had mixed results but now that I have found Mary, I will never go anywhere else, she truly is an artist.

I’ve been seeing Mary for over 10 years now. I started with her when she was in Carmel and followed her since then. Her experience along with her artistic eye has been keeping me coming back. She recommends the best things for me but is not pushy with a hard sell. I’ve slowly started with laser hair removal, but have moved on to Botox and fillers. Everything she’s done has looked natural, yet better and more youthful. I can’t recommend her enough and am thankful for her aesthetic guidance. Michelle is sweet and fits me in when I need to come in.

Others have said it and I have to say it’s true, Mary is an artists! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face. I have been overwhelmingly happy with everything I’ve had done. I want to age gracefully with some subtle changes and she listened, made some recommendations and we came up with a plan together. I couldn’t be happier, my results are better than I ever expected. It’s challenging to write a review that is unique and different from all the other positive ones that have been written. Seriously, they said it all! Mary and Michelle are a dynamic dermo duo! Not only do they get to know your needs and concerns but they get to know you as a person, friend and customer. I guess that’s what’s unique about them and their office. They make you feel good about yourself and they are never forceful with any sales pitches or products. They are so genuine, so honest, so trustworthy that seeing them becomes a fun event not a doctor’s appt. And the event is in the category of art because Mary truly is a detailed artist.
I’ve had a little bit of this that and the other… not too much… not too little. Just like Goldilocks would say…“This is just right“

I agree with all the other reviewers here about Mary & Michelle. They are, simply put, The BEST. You can just toss all your worries away about getting any procedure you’ve been thinking of doing here. Mary is an artist & takes total pride in doing the best work she can possibly do. You can totally trust her. And Michelle is so wonderful at making you feel welcome. Seriously, you will not want to go anywhere else. It’s like hanging out with your best girlfriends!

Finally got by Botox done! Mary came highly recommended and I’m so glad I went to her, I felt very well taken care of and she is very skilled. The office is so elegant, and the front office manager (Michelle) was so sweet. Mary knows her stuff and I felt so comfortable with her, even with the needle in my forehead! I love my results and will be back next time those pesky lines return.

Aptos Medical Aesthetics is amazing! The staff is very well-​trained and professional, but always so warm and welcoming. Their new location on Soquel Dr. (the practice was formerly known as Derm Essence and was located very close to Dominican, now Dignity, Hospital) is calming, warm and completely lovely. I have been seeing Mary Codiga for almost a year (laser treatments for rosacea) and the improvement has been dramatically positive! I would recommend Aptos Medical Aesthetics to anyone with absolutely no reservation.

I only found Mary a year & a half ago. But I will never lose her now! I had been toying with the idea of «youthfulizing» my face for some time so when a friend suggested seeing Mary, I decided to take the plunge. I’m really glad I did. From the very beginning, I felt at ease. Appointments are handled beautifully by Michelle & I always feel so welcomed. Mary throughly explained several treatment options & I decided to go with some Sculptra injections. The results have been amazing & I’ve been so pleased I’ve gone back for other services. When you call for an appointment Michelle (the office manager) is so upbeat and friendly you wonder why you didn’t call last week. Then when you arrive at the FABULOUS new and gorgeous location you are greeted again with such enthusiasm your spirits are uplifted before your wrinkles even get a chance to do the same!
Mary has literally worked wonders on my old face. She gave me a series of Sculptra injections this year (and oh, yeah – Botox is my friend). I just returned from visiting a cousin I hadn’t seen in almost a year. She was staring at my face and said «How come you look so much better than you did when I last saw you? Have you done something?». I took this as a high compliment – she couldn’t tell WHAT it was, but I looked better to her! When I told her about Sculptra and Mary’s expert hands (I have never had bruises) my cousin replied «That’s amazing. You look so much better and you don’t have that over-​puffy lip or obvious face work.»
I have before and after pictures and Mary truly does make magic happen. Visiting Mary and Michelle at Aptos Medical Aesthetics doesn’t just make cosmetic changes – every time I am there it lifts my spirits and leaves me feeling great about myself. They are THE BEST.

Mary is a true artist in sculpting the facial contours with Botox and fillers and I totally trust her. I’ve had these treatments done at other places with varying (not good) results! I went in for Botox and she suggested I do fillers in the corners of my mouth that had deep scars from Accutane treatments when I was a teen. What a difference! I now have plump, pretty lips and no more deep scars. With the Botox she raised my brows perfectly to open up my eyes. I love her new place in Aptos that was just renovated in the Bliss Salon building. She and her front desk gal Michelle are super friendly and awesome!
