Every trip to Wisconsin includes a stop at Wilmar’s. There is no finer piece of candy than their maple cream filled chocolate! I’ve been going there for 50 years!!!

Five stars and then some!
Their dark chocolate almond bark is amazing! It’s heart healthy and calcium rich, what else could one want? It’s the freshly made, since something that good doesn’t last long on the shelf!
Also, their custom design your own bars can be made in milk chocolate, semi sweet or a mixture and one can add four ingredients. Personally, I like the Wisconsin cherries with sea salt, almonds, cinnamon, and a mixture of chocolate. Out of this world!
In the cooler months, the chocolate can be ordered and shipped to anywhere in the country.
A little shop with a big taste!!!

Anything I want in my giant candy bar? Well, thank you!
We were on a weekend adventure in the Fox Cities and our hostess selected Wilmar for a tour and candy bar making session.
We were lucky enough to have a great hostess who coordinated with the store ahead of time to allow us to select everything we wanted in our candy bars. 80% of the candy was ready for us when we arrived. We started with a brief overview of the store’s history and then we were lead to the back to watch them make 5 of our chocolate bars. What a fun experience!
I can’t say enough of how great my candy bars were and how welcoming the store was to all 18 of us. In addition to my 2 candy bars, I got a box of melt-​a-​ways, some Pop Rocks (yeah, for real) and candy lips. Everyone enjoyed their gifts very much.
Great little shop with old school penny candy, great chocolates and friendly staff.

Wow! Amazing! I have had chocolate all over the world and this is some of the finest. Cant wait to be back in Appleton again to stop here. Love, love, love the pecan turtles and choc-​covered cashews and the choc-​covered raisins are the best ever. Warning, the shop gets busy at times so be prepared for a small wait. Super staff.

I used to come here when I was a kid, back when it was mostly stuffed from end to end with cheap candy, the archetypal small-​town candy shop where you could afford something even if you only had a few scrounged pennies in your pocket. Now it’s a fancy upscale chocolate shop, although they keep a little bit of penny candy around at the front of the store. The chocolate is pretty good — American style, pecan turtles and meltaways and bridge mix, and bar chocolate with fruit and nuts. The day I came in they were giving out bacon chocolate samples but I (wisely, I think) avoided that and tried a cranberry nut variety instead.

A wonderful place in Appleton, with something for everyone. Wonderful staff, above average to excellent products, clean and they will keep cards for you about your preferences so if someone wants to buy you chocolates, they know just what to get you. A wonderful and thoughtful service. Thanks for such a wonderful business in the Fox Valley guys!

On the road for two weeks, then Two more in Wisconsin for work is not something the «better half» is happy with.
Luckily Wilmar’s offers excellent Chocolates to soothe the savage beast that is the «road scorned» Mrs. Gonzalez
If not for you Wilmars, the possibility of bodily injury to myself upon returning home empty handed is greatly reduced.
