Loved my meal here! Sat at the bar and the service was fantastic! Started with a delicious roasted beet salad, dressing on the side. The house bread was fantastic; Little variety of breads with whipped butter. The salmon fillet over spinach was cooked to absolute perfection. Also ordered the roasted sweet potato for two… It could have feed three! Very good but I was stuffed so took it go. This establishment was fantastic!

Slow service but decent food. Over priced. Nice people though. But worst off all it is not«Halas Hall» it is Lombardi’s place. As a Bear fan, regardless, I appreciate this place and its football history. The food is just OK for the price. No need to go back.

Very disappointing. We were seated right at our reservation time, but that was the last thing that went right. To start with, we had a very sarcastic and nasty waiter. As we were ordering drinks, he kept making sarcastic remarks rather than listening to our order. Big surprise, 4 of our 6 drinks arrived wrong and had to go back. We then ordered our dinners. In my opinion, the way to tell a good steak house is by the Rib-eye. 5 of 6 of us ordered the rib-eye. 1 ordered the KC strip. The KC strip was cooked incorrectly. It was ordered rare and arrived medium well. One rib-eye was ordered Blackened but what arrived was a blackened KC strip. My rib-eye was cooked rare, but was one of the worst cuts of meat I have ever eaten. There was a strip of fat or something right through the middle of my steak that even the knife would not cut, let alone my teeth. I had to cut around it for the entire meal. 3 of the rib-eyes were cooked to order and good pieces of steak. The sides were good. The incorrect blackened KC strip was sent back in exchange for a blackened rib-eye which then came out correct and was a good cut of meat. When the waiter brought back the correct steak, he commented on how«He hates when this happens to him». That was too much for me to take. I inquired«What happened to you. Did you get the wrong drinks, did you get a pitcher of water ½ dumped on you(he did that to one of our party), did you get the wrong steak like one of us did»? The only reason I rated this a 2 was because 3 of the steaks were good and the Pinot Noir he recommended for dinner was good. But I can guaranty that not one of the 6 of us would ever go back there again.

We ate here because we wanted something other than bar food and didn’t particularly want to leave the hotel. First — the server was pleasant, She had notes on the menu and didn’t hesitate to refer to them when answering our questions. Second — the food was good, not great. We started the meal with the spinach artichoke dip. The portion would easily have served four people. There was very little artichoke or spinach in the dip. It was primarily an Alfredo type sauce. We both ordered fish; salmon for me(tender, well-prepared) and halibut for my friend(dry and tough). The entrees included choice of soup or salad. The salads were lettuce topped with large tomato wedges. My blue cheese dressing was excellent but the salads were boring. Our sides were very good. The twice-baked potato was wonderful and onion rings came with the meal. A tasty surprise because we didn’t see them listed on the menu as an accompaniment. It should be noted that the salmon was altered to suit my preferences with help from the server. I did not get shrimp or «Florentine» with my salmon. I don’t know if the price was reduced accordingly — I doubt it. Warning — this place is ridiculously over-priced. Being from the Chicago area, I expect to pay top $$$ for good steak and fish but this is excessive. I can get better food at local steakhouses for about $ 10-$ 15 less per entrée.

Went here with a couple of friends hoping to have a good steak. We all agreed we were a little disappointed. The restaurant is upscale but the atmosphere had me expecting better steak. Prices were about average for a steakhouse and while it wasn’t terrible I probably wouldn’t eat here again unless I REALLY wanted a steak and there were no other options. Our waitress was top notch and did a great job. One of my friends ordered liquor and said he appreciated the heavy pours.

Pricey but good. Had a ribeye, cesar, asparagus with a cab. Great place to eat if you want an upscale meal when you’re staying downtown. After, there’s tons of good places to drink… It is Wisconsin.

Pretty underwhelming experience. Two items of clarification:(1) I’ve been traveling a lot to major cities(Vancouver, San Fran, Atlanta, etc) so dining in the middle of Wisconsin may not be a fair comparison and(2) I’m not a big red-meat eater so I did not have any of their steaks(which most of my group raved about). That being said, these are my personal reflections. Foremost, service was excellent. We had a large group in a private room so our server Allen was top-notch. He mentioned living in L.A. previously so I can only guess he trained in a much different than setting than here. But the food was totally average in my mind. The maple glazed pork chop came recommended but I found it to be pretty bland. The smell of maple, which immediately reminded me of breakfast pancakes, didn’t translate into the flavor. The meat was cooked a bit on the well-done side although once I got to the middle of that huge chop it was much more tender. But the flavor was pretty dry and bland. The sides were all in the same category, nothing really stood out. Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese: not really cheesy at all, and this is Wisconsin! The Caramelized Brussels Sprouts were highly recommended and I didn’t not care for them at all, other than a hint of mustard they were quite bland. I cook this vegetable at home often, and with better results. The appetizer round was probably the best overall. We passed around a mixture of jumbo shrimp(good), bacon-wrapped sea scallop(cooked well but the flavor was a bit odd, maybe because there is no sea for thousands of miles), crab cake(huge), and some bruschetta. Their new pear salad was talked up a bit so many of us upgraded the standard house salad. It sounded great but the lemon poppy seed dressing was too much. Tossed in to thickly and was too sweet in that it overwhelmed everything. The table ordered a trio of desserts to share, their Tuxedo Cake, their B-52 cheesecake, and a newer coconut cheesecake. These were all quite good, although the coconut flavor was not nearly as prominent as hoped in that last cheesecake. Now don’t get me wrong, the food was not bad in anyway, but for the price, when compared with spending the same(or even less) I’ve been to tons of restaurants around the country with much better flavors across the board.

Service was fantastic but thats because we were one of 3 tables in a large place. I started with a wedge — HUGE portion and in house made blue cheese was probably the highlight of my meal. My steak was good but to be honest for the cost — there are much better options. I would not hurry back although it was cool to see all the pack memorabilia, Meh — just ok.

The reason to go here is because of the name and the awesome décor that surrounds the rooms. Going here is something one should do if he is a Packer fan and is visiting, but for a steakhouse it is nothing too special. There are many good steakhouses where I live and this doesn’t live up to them, but it is still good and tasty. I started with the Wedge salad and let me just say that you need to get the dressing on the side. I did not and I had enough blue cheese and fat to keep me full for the entire meal, but thankfully I did not eat it all. I had the Kansas City strip which was good, but nothing too much special. I also had some of the brussel sprouts which were a little bit of a let down. However, you get some skinny onion rings which are delicious and can easily suffice for a side dish. I did not have dessert though they looked good, huge though! I don’t know if I would come here again, but I am glad I did because it topped off a day at Lambeau with some Packer history.

I don’t normally comment on décor, but you sorta have to at Lombardi’s. The whole place is covered with Packers and Lombardi memorabilia which honestly makes the whole place kinda dark and drab. Obviously if you’re not a Packer fan it all just looks somewhat tacky, especially for what is trying to be a higher end steakhouse. My group and I shared appetizers including the bruschetta, fried calamari, and risotto cakes. The bruschetta was very fresh and quite good. I’d never had risotto cakes before; these seemed ok, but I wouldn’t necessarily get them again. Had an interesting texture but not the strongest of flavors. The fried calamari was superb though, probably the highlight of the meal. Cooked to perfection, crispy and not oily, the calamari also came with a delicious lemon aioli. Absolutely recommend the fried calamari. The whole table had steaks for dinner. And the whole table said their steaks were overcooked a bit. Not bad enough to send the steaks back, but everyone noticed the steaks were overcooked. I actually don’t mind my steaks slightly overcooked(rather over than under), but I had asked for the blue cheese crusting on mine. I fully expected just some dashes of blue cheese on top to add a bit of flavor, but no, it was as if a massive wedge of cheese had been crumbled and then whisked to a semi-liquid state. The steak was completely covered in a thick layer of blue cheese which was just so overwhelming. I scraped off 99% of it. We had a number of sides — mashed potatoes, mushrooms, etc. They were all ok, nothing worth remembering though. Overall, don’t go in with high expectations.

This is my second visit to Lombardi’s Steak House, so far, this year. We started out with a cocktail from the bar which was very well made. The dining room is nicely decorated and the chairs, very comfortable. The dinner/appetizer menu(the only one we saw) was thorough, complete, and self explanatory. The wine list, is also complete and inclusive. We started out with, and shared the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer, and these were cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious. A little discussion regarding«sides» and starches is necessary, as these are usually large enough for two. The waitstaff offered to «halve» one of the vegetables for us, and even then, was large enough for two. The steaks themselves, a Bone-in Rib-eye and a petit-filet were cooked as ordered and were very good. I don’t know if it was«prime» beef or not, but tasted, chewed and cut more like«choice». — I am by NO means, an expert in the sometimes subtle differences between«choice» and«prime» beef offerings so I will leave it at that. Dinner was accompanied with a glass of a very nice Pinot Noir, and was an excellent accompaniment. We finished off our dinner with a couple of different cheesecakes, and these were also, excellent. Overall, we both enjoyed this special evening out, and will certainly be back. I enjoy having a special go to restaurant for those special occasions and will keep Lombardi’s as one of those.

I really enjoyed dinner at Lombardi’s. The scallops appetizer was a great start. My steak was perfect and the lobster mac and cheese delicious, and a very generous portion. The complimentary onion strings were just okay; a little on the greasy side and more room temperature than hot. A great selection of wine and stellar service. The dining room is really beautiful without being stuffy. However, the next day’s trip for burgers was lackluster. You would think a place that got steak so right, would get burgers perfect. Sadly, the sandwiches seem to be an afterthought at Lombardi’s. The burger was charred on the outside and very, very rare on the inside. I had asked for«medium.» A mountain of overcooked and cold fries does nothing for visual appeal of the plate. I would like to see less fries and perhaps a seasonal fruit cup or a purple cole slaw. A well-made slaw would be a nice nod to the area’s German heritage. Even toasting the bun would have made a difference. In addition to the burger, I ordered the French Onion Soup. If you’re a purist, don’t order it. The croutons and cheese are served in the top of a hollowed out onion; plopped on top of the salty brown stock. There is a fine line between imaginative presentation and kitsch. The food should be be star, not the presentation. Again the service was perfect and professional.

We stopped in for dinner at 5:30 Saturday night. The place was empty. They told us they only take reservations until 8:00 so we could not eat here. l guess they don’t want our $ 100.00. Business must be too good. I won’t recommend Lombard’s again. I have been here before and you pay too much for what you get anyways.

More like 2.5 Our steaks were good… not great. I’ve had much better at The Freight House in La Crosse at a lower price. The sides were a OK, but not spectacular. Asparagus was under cooked and«Lombardi’s Hash Brown’s» were nothing out of the ordinary. I would think that a side that carries the restaurants name would be unique or different, but these were just plain old Hash Brown’s. The best side we had were the Onion Strings that apparently come with every meal. My biggest problem with our experience had nothing to do with the food. It was a Sunday night after a Packer game, so at a restaurant named after the greatest Packer Coach of all time, I expect there to be a lot of people having a lot of fun. Heck even I was wearing an Aaron Rodger’s jersey. Something I would normally never do at as classy a place as this. That all being said, I feel that the staff let things get out of hand on this night. There was a Birthday party for a woman who had obviously been drinking since before the game started and the other 6 – 7 people at the table were also quite well lubricated. I have no problem with people having fun, but don’t put a group like that smack in the middle of the main dining area. I thought about asking to move, but didn’t see anywhere that would’ve been any better. Our server was nice and they are wheelchair accessible. Even though this was not a good experience, I will give them another try. Just not after a Packer Game!

Best place for a steak or crab legs in Fox Valley. Warning to women… kind of a «Man’s Club’ with all the Packer stuff all over the place. Everything is ala cart but portions are huge. Great place for a business meeting.

Oh boy. If you’re ever in packer country, this is one of the only decent places to try around here. Lambardi’s is an awesome steakhouse. Old school steak joint with plenty of lambardi memorabilia. Start with the shrimp cocktail and the caesar salad. Then gotta try the Porter house steak. Wow. All that. Simple, juicy, beautiful. Others at the table had the cheese burger, chopped steak, and strip steak. No complaints. Also try the cheddar mashed potatoes. If you’re in the area, this is a must try.

had the pleasure of dining @ Lombardi’s when the KC Chiefs were in town for a preseason game against the Packers… and they all were killing steaks @ Lombardi’s. You’ll find every typical cut of steak here. strip, filet, ribeye. most everything is prime grade. They also offer a couple of dry-aged options. Make sure to ask to see the meat tray before you order in case they have a special cut. Obligatory sides: garlic mashed spuds, broccoli, spinach, etc. Spinach was sauteed with a little bit of vinegar which didn’t really agree with me. My filet was cooked nicely — medium rare which is def. pink in the middle. French Onion Soup: first time I ever ate a french onion soup out of an onion. yep, they serve their soup in an onion. a bit much for me but made for an interesting start to my meal. wish they has used a bit more gruyère… Service was top notch. If you can remember to ask to be seated in Christy’s section. She will take good care of you. Enjoyed the football memorabilia and the vibe.

First off: «huge portions» does not a great dining experience make. The steak I ordered and had prepared to the chef’s recommendation was below average in taste and texture. It was the pedestrian meat you’d get in any chain steak house. Despite the overpriced entrees i must say the service was spot on. I despise restaurants who pay a licensing fee to use a celebrity’s name as if Coach Lombardi opened this joint.

Best steak house in town. It’s no wonder NFL teams say and dine here when they play the Packers. You can’t go wrong here except by maybe putting your bank account in the red. The sides are heavenly – mashed potatoes stand out.
