Fratellos Restaurant & Brewery

Beer is decent. Blackened fish salad is my favorite dish, chicken chili is pretty good too, but a tad bland.

Food was really good; beer was pretty good, too. The place was fancier and more expensive than I was expecting. The outdoor seating was really nice!

Loved working there back in 2004; but always go back and visit. Great atmosphere and customer service. Ales brewed there and perfect place for shopping and watch the games while the ladies shopped.
Also should check out their captain crunch chicken; and white chicken chili.

Micro brews are nothing special but that doesn’t mean they at bad however they don’t have mugs, pints, etc with their logo on for purchase so this will not be included in my pint and mug collection, which disappoints me.

Good food and decent micro brews. Loved their India pale ale when I first visited months ago, have returned twice since, and this particular brew was unavailable.
This was very unfortunate, as it was by far their best brew, in my opinion.
Food has always been good, and decently priced as well.
This was my go-​to for beer-​geek goodness, until my last visit to Appleton, when I discovered stone cellar, better brews, in my opinion. But Fratellos in the mall is within walking distance from the hotel I stay in, so it will definitely stick on my list of regular haunts up that way. Bartender and wait staff are great, service has been impeccable on many visits.
Only complaint other than the lack of India pale ale, would be that they insist that you drink out of a plastic cup when on their deck outside. Decent micro brews have no business in a plastic cup, and we are all adults here, right?

This mall restaurant is glorified food court fare. We went for an annual treck of holiday shopping, and the place was very busy so maybe that affects the quality of the food and service? I’ll have to hope.
The surf and turf burger on a pretzel bun sounded great, but it was burnt on the outside with mushy stuffing which was mostly wet breading. Bleh. Tiny little stringy french fries. I looked for hope in the turtle chocolate cupcake but it was a sludgy pile of underdone cake mix with a slathering pile of frosting. Way too sweet, totally unsophisticated, but maybe kids would like it.
The waitress was nice but took forever, spent half the meal without a drink because she didn’t come back to refill, messed up the check, etc. Just a mess.
I think this is the worst review I’ve ever left! I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I won’t be back. Come on Fratello’s, you could be a really nice restaurant if you tried!

Casual outdoor dinning surrounded by mall girls. Salmon fish tacos had great flavor. My friends drank them out of their Scottish beer so it must have been excellent. We had a great night. P. S. Sit facing the sidewalk to enjoy scenery. P. P. S. I dutifully had my back turned.

I took my two bestest girls for Mother’s Day dinner (the Tuesday before) after shopping for wedding attire. My mom ordered the Chicken Chili (a mainstay at Fratello’s, always delicious), my daughter ordered a BBQ cheeseburger and fries and I got the Blackened White Fish Mediterranean Salad. When the food came, we dug in. Kylie’s burger came on a pretzel roll which looked great but didn’t really compliment the burger. A brioche bun would have been a better choice. My mom loved the chili, served in a taco salad shell and I. well, I finished the whole salad. Needless to say, it was terrific.
The only issue we had was even on a slow night, our server was slow with the iced tea refills. I had to wave him down twice.
It wasn’t my first time there, and as always, the food was very good and the price was good but the service a tad slow.

Gotta love it when you’re expecting a bill for $ 40.00 for 2 martinis and a 2 vodka tonics and your bill arrives and is a whopping $ 13.65!
As a word of advice on Friday nights after 9pm, drinks are ½ off.

Rachel you are so sweet! (our waitress) her smile was sincere her opinions were on point and her service was impeccable!
I got the gnocchi bolognese with double meat for only 2 bucks more…(I needed more protien because I was headed to the gym after dinner) I also got the white chicken chile which was spicy and just great! both my dishes were really delicious and I could not complain I also tried my friends creamy chicken version of the gnocchi and it was amazing as well! my other friend got the blackened haddock salad it looked really good but i did not try it she was super satisfied ! warm bread with both butter and cheese and pepper laden olive oil was served as well…
I am in Appleton for a week and I am planning on heading back to this great spot, I was not drinking (darn gym) but i will next time and I saw some really good dark beer options brewed right on site!
