It’s really a different experience with normal fast food chain. Basically, you don’t smell junk when you came in, and the environment is very nice and not very noisy, they put real flowers on each table. The food is awesome too, and their staff will deliver the food to your table and check often to make sure you are enjoying it, wow, I can’t believe it’s a fast food chain. Would definitely come back again.

So I ordered 2 Caniac combos and one had 4 strips and the other had 5. What’s up with that? If I wanted less I would have ordered less.

It chicken strips people. Really good chicken strips. I’ve only been to the Apple Valley location, but I keep coming back so it has to be pretty good. You get the strips in whatever number you order them along with crinkle cut fries, cole slaw, a piece of Texas toast and the Cane’s sauce(which is ketchup and mayonnaise or whatever, but its really good). You order at the counter and choose either take out or eat in. If you eat in you take a table and and either way they call your name when its ready. Its all really good, but the only thing that remotely approaches a down side is the crinkle cut fries. They are decent and even though they are basically an add in, that is just how they come across here. I’ve eaten plenty of terrific fries and these are not terrific, but as a part of the whole experience they are fine. The star after all are the chicken strips. We have had times where we have had strips that were clearly fresh and times where it seemed they had sat off to the side a while. You could tell the instant you bit into one, but overall its a good choice for what it does. The sweet tea is good too. You will like it. Your kids will love it.

Drive thru had a lot of cars, but you would never know it cause it moved very quickly. Been here 3 times and I absolutely love it! The chicken fingers are always fresh and hot and that cane sauce is to die for! I always recommend this place and I always stop in when in Apple Valley. This is my number 1 fast food type place by far!

Warning: This place might be very busy around dinner on week nights. I’m assuming they are students coming here to eat after school. We were here around 5 or 6 and had to wait for a clear table. By 7 or 8 the place was almost empty. They had people cleaning tables as soon as the guests left though which was good! The chicken strips are one of the best fast food chicken strips. Golden brown, juicy, yum. The Cane’s Sauce is… weird. I’m a big sauce fan and this sauce wasn’t as flavorful as I was expecting. It’s not very sweet at all, maybe slightly tangy, and maybe slightly peppery. I couldn’t put my finger on what I was tasting and it was just kind of weird to me. But it was alright. I could see people who don’t like sweet sauces enjoying this sauce(aka my boyfriend). The fries are boring crinkle fries. Good, but not fantastic. The coleslaw is just OK. Not bad but could be coleslaw from anywhere. The Texas Toast was good but it’s pretty dry. I think it’s very, very lightly buttered. Noticed a lot of the students dipping their toast in their Cane’s Sauce, which I thought was interesting, but I guess it does make it taste less dry. Overall, with all the hype this place receives I expected it to be SO, SO much better. I wasn’t really impressed, but if I lived nearby I’d probably stop by again because I like chicken strips and can’t find decent chicken strips at very many fast food places. If another good chicken strip joint opened up with more flavorful sauce choices and better sides, this place would go under fast, the thing is, there really isn’t another good chicken strip joint.

All chicken finger fanatics should add Raising Canes into their rotation. These premium white meat strips are perfectly seasons and fried golden. Texas toast and secret house sauce add to the overall experience. The crinkle cut fries are admittedly the weakest link in the«box combo» but not terrible. The Apple Valley location tends to be staffed with high schoolers with vary standards as it relates to being effective at their jobs. However, it’s never terrible. Usually high energy and polite.

The chicken is cooked perfectly and is crispy and golden. But let’s be real, we all come here for the sauce! So good! I do wish their menu had more variety. Don’t come here unless you are craving solely chicken tenders. It’s a neat concept, but not really sure why it’s considered a restaurant with only 2 items on the menu.

It’s hard to beat a place that just does one thing really, really well and Raising Cane’s knows their chicken fingers.

I dont see anything special about this place or the food. The chicken tastes fine, but nothing id come driving back for. They have a very small menu, which made ordrring easy. But lack of a variety of dipping sauces bothered me. High school kind of crowd seems to be attracted to this place.

Absolutely love their chicken. And that sauce!!! Yumm. Food is always fresh, but would totally recommend that you go in for your food and not drive thru. Fries and that toast is so good too. Always excited to come here.

The kids like the place, the parents, not so much. It was packed when we came like literally no place to park so we drove around and finally got a spot. Definitely a «teen hotspot». Loud and busy in here. The food is fine for fast food, a bit salty and processed but that is what you get at this type of place. The toast was good. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here — we were in the area after a kids event. Not bad but not great.

Based on the reviews and the level of excitement from our teens, i was looking to trying this place. Last night we tried take out from here for the first and last time. One observation, if your going have a limited menu, like offer just chicken finger on your menu, they better be good. Like«OMFG!» good. If your going to offer limited sides to go with those chicken fingers, these should be something you’ll remembe in good way. The fact that this place was filled with teens, hanging out(or chillin’ or insert current teen slang) should have been a sign. The difficulty the person had getting our order correct with the limited menu, should also have been a clue. In the end, the this place proved to be a popular hangout for teens, but not so much for good food. The chicken was made with good white meat, but the portion was very small. 3 fingers were perhaps 2 or 3ozs of chicken. The scarce breading left a third of the chicken showing. At least they use a decent white meat and were not completely dry. The flavor can best be described as «blah». There was no spice to discern of besides a bit of salt. The fries were on the mushy side. No real snap to them. I was not a fan. The bread was just a huge piece of buttered grilled bread, it was greasy and the crust was dry, not crunchy. I did not like it at all. I tried their slaw as well. The portion is about an eighth cup, it is far too sweet and dry for my taste. For the price and the quality, I will leave this place to the teens.

So good! The chicken is crunchy, juicy, and they give you big portions. The sauce is amazing too. For a chain, it’s pretty delish!

Perhaps if there’s anything I enjoy more in life than eating pizza and paying my taxes, it’s eating chicken fingers. I remember being told of this joint by an associate in the Cities and even though it’s a chain, I had never heard of it! The funny part about this location is that it is literally divided by a parking lot to a KFC location. Canes was PACKED, I had to drive around the whole lot twice to find somewhere to park… I honestly thought about parking in the KFC lot and walking over but man, that would make me a jerk. They probably would have noticed too, since there were only about 2.5 cars in the KFC lot. So getting inside, it was sort of crowded but not awful. It appears they just need more than the dozen or so parking spots offered… The line only took about 5 minutes before I was able to order. It certainly didn’t take long as this place just serves chicken fingers and there are a TOTAL of FOUR options to choose from on the whole menu. That’s it. No fun sides, no frills. Just four options. I ordered the four piece meal and swapped out the coleslaw(I think) for extra fries. The fries were your typical, but slightly above average chain fries. The«texas toast» was a bun that is toasted and buttered on the grill and it’s the size of a hot dog bun, it was quite delicious. The chicken itself, was quite juicy and fresh tasting. The breading was a bit bland, but still quite good. I honestly think I prefer Popeyes to Cane’s if we are talking Chain Chicken wars, but Cane’s is still a nice option. They also have sweet tea! I love Sweet Tea!

I’ve been hearing the hype about Raising Cane’s for some time. I was finally near the Apple Valley location when it was convenient for me to give it a try. So I did. Let’s start by saying that if you’re going to open a place that serves only chicken fingers and hope to stay in business, they better be absolutely outstanding. In that regard, I have to say that RC’s were easily the best chicken fingers I’ve ever enjoyed. I ordered the Box Combo and received four pieces of moist, flavorful chicken coated with a non-greasy, crunchy batter. In the admittedly narrow category of «fingers» they merit at least four stars. The rest of the meal was for me just OK. A small side of unexceptional cole slaw, standard issue crinkle cut fries, a slice of dry, vaguely garlic flavored Texas Toast and a small cup of Cane’s dipping sauce which grew less appealing after the first impression. I agree with others that RC’s may want to think about offering a variety of sauces(for example: honey mustard, buffalo, garlic aioli, thai chili-lime, cantonese sweet-sour, spicy peanut, just to suggest a few). FYI: The lemonade is decent but, unlike the other soft drinks(including iced tea) does not come with free refills. Add it all up and I give RC’s an overall meh. OK for a quick bite if you’re in the area but not worth a special trip.

Pretty damn good! First time here and throughly enjoyed it. The chicken was great and so was the sauce. Didn’t really like the fries much!

I never heard of Raising Canes until I started working at my current job. When they first told me about it I pictured a KFC and I hate KFC so I didn’t want to go. My coworkers took me there for lunch(because they are all obsessed) and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken strips were good and they melted in your mouth. The texas toast was really good, way better than most fast food texas toast I’ve ever had. The Cane’s sauce is hard to explain. I’m a sucker for chipotle sauce and this was pretty close to tasting like a chipotle sauce, just a little more tangy. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out so fast and they had self-serve pop which I enjoyed. They also only had four options to chose from which made ordering easy. I will most likely go again, but I don’t think I’ll ever crave it the way I crave nacho’s.

Came here for the first time and was surprised how much the chicken strips actually tasted like real chicken! The chicken is similar to deli chicken you would buy at a grocery store. The fries were delicious and the Texas toast melts in your mouth. You only have 4 options on the menu so that made it easier to order. I got the 3 finger basket and it came to be about $ 7. The chicken strips were much smaller than I expected and the basket automatically comes with a fountain pop — which I probably wouldn’t have gotten if I had the option. They also have their own Cane’s dipping sauce, which is kind of tangy. I would like if they had more options other than their sauce and ketchup. I’d definitely go back if they had gravy as an option :0 This was a good spot for lunch and I would recommend to those who haven’t tried it before.
