We came in around lunch when it was slow and ordered BEFORE the 4 sets of people came in AFTER us. Not only were they all served FIRST but I had to ask for our order and when it was brought it was haphazardly tossed together, falling apart, and tasted substandard. Refills were late, no fresh plates, and made our valentine’s date a disappointment. Used to come here all the time, now I’m going elsewhere.

I have been here time and time again. Great sushi cheap prices. We get stuffed with $ 20, the rolls are huge! All of the tempura rolls are so flavorful, will be back very soon.

Terrible service, terrible food. Let me explain. My dad and I went in for sushi and was asked to seat ourselves. We were greeted 15 minutes later by the waitress and asked what we would like. Ordered drinks and a calamari roll, crunch dragon roll, and a sesame chicken appetizer. I got my roll about 20 minutes later(still no drinks) and had to eat in front of my dad. Finally I asked the waitress for our drinks and we got them about 45 minutes after we initially entered the establishment and were seated. When I got my roll it smelled like spoiled fish, the appetizer didn’t come out for another 20 minutes and was burnt, they didn’t even start the crunch dragon roll and it wasn’t written down on the order(even though the waitress asked three times what the name of the roll was). Everyone in the restaurant had to get up from their table to ask the waitress for refills and where their food was. The waitress took money and then touched the food and made drinks without washing her hands, who knows what else was touched. Worst experience EVER. I also got sick from eating the sushi and the calamari was deep fried so I’m guessing the veggies or imitation crab was left out too long. I wouldn’t even give the place one star. When I entered the restaurant there were three small groups of people. It wasn’t busy, however maybe the establishment should hire help for the waitress so at least the customer service experience is better. Better food storage and hygiene is DEFINITELY needed, what I witnessed was disgusting and unacceptable.

This place was just«ok». Nothing at all special about it. The dining area is small. Those of you who are traditionalist snobs will not like the fact that this place has TVs and music, though the music was playing at a reasonably low volume. I don’t mind the small dining area, the TV and music personally, but things I do mind and which make me question whether I’d ever want to come back are… The sushi chef is not very good. Half the rolls we ordered came apart too easily while trying to pick pieces up to eat. Also, the quality control was poor. Most of the pieces were not properly cut and separated from adjacent pieces. Tip for sushi chef: do a better job of tightly packing the rolls, sharpen your knives, and do a better job of quality checking your finished products to ensure they really are something you’d really want your customers to enjoy. Pride goes a long way, and what I saw was a complete lack of pride and/or proper training. I wasn’t impressed with the service either. The woman who served us(I assume she’s also the owner) was the only server, but then again there were only a few small parties dining there at the time we were there. I can’t say it took overly long to get our orders placed. Speed of food service wasn’t exactly fast, but it wasn’t horribly slow either. It wasn’t anything to complain about, but it wasn’t anything impressive either. But one thing that bugs me is when empty dishes sit on a table for an extended time and no attempt is made to police up the dirty dishes until much later. We were already down to just drinking our beverages anyway, but it was just an obvious sign of inattentive service if you ask me. I expect attention to details from anybody who owns or manages a business, and it appeared to be insufficient here. One last problem I had with this place: as soon as I saw the menu, I immediately thought it was just another version of Oasis Sushi, which I recently reviewed and said was the worst sushi restaurant I’d ever been to. I can’t say for sure that the menu was identical to the one at Oasis, but it sure looked very much like it. It’s not a good first impression when the menu looks exactly the same. A turd with a different name is still ultimately just another turd to me. I didn’t even know there was another sushi place across the street from here until reading somebody else’s review. I think I’ll check them out next time.

Came in for an order to go. Paid. After 30 minutes, they told us 10 more minuted, then 10 more, then 10 more. We are still waiting. They are understaffed and frankly don’t care.

Love is always my first choice whenever I think to recommend to anyone wanting sushi in the high desert. They have good service and even more amazing food. Their house roll is the best I have ever had. It’s buttery and melts in your mouth. I love their tempura batter; it’s light and doesn’t overwhelm anything its fried with. On top of all that, they’re not super expensive! Make sure you try them asap.

Best sushi in town. Clean, nice staff, good area. Better than any of the other sushi places I’ve been to up here.

So disappointed. I have been going here since it opened(8 years I think). The service and food quality has gone down hill significantly. I tolerated more than I normally would because of being a regular but it is too bad to ignore anymore. Sushi is not as fresh, new sushi chefs are not very good, lots of mistakes, very slow. Iced tea is a gross powder. Many times the tables were sticky and not completely clean. I even made a reservation for a large group for a birthday on a Friday night at a time the owner agreed to(5:15pm– early so we could get in and out before the usual dinner rush) and asked us to come at and when we arrived she said«sorry it’s Friday night, it’s busy, I don’t want your group, too many others coming tonight.» We order a lot and tip well so this was ridiculous. We left and I called the other sushi restaurant across the street which not only took us but was Clean, quick and the sushi was fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly. I have found a new sushi home across the street and saying goodbye to Soya for good. I think people put up with it because it is cheap. But as I am now learning there are a few other sushi Gems up here in the HD that have much better service and quality for pretty much the same price. No need to stay and put up with it anymore. Moving on.

My husband and I love it here. The food and service is always great! The sushi is always fresh. I always get the spicy CA rolls, miso and gyoza. Another one of my faves here is the sexy lady roll. My husband always gets the tuna sashimi among other dishes. Also, good prices.

Sushi was decent, very small place, terribly understaffed. Stopped by for dinner on sunday and it was real busy, looks like the lady whom I believe to be the owner was the only one waiting on tables. It was a full house and I can tell the service suffered because she was the only one waiting on tables. Had to ask several times to get my water refilled, and for extras like ginger and wasabi. I might give them another shot when I am too lazy to drive down the road, but think I will stick with another sushi place thats a little farther away but faster service and not such a small cramped space

We took an order to go, i spent well over $ 60 dollars on everything from fresh mussles, to 4 rolls & one hand wrap, and the bbq beef dinner special &3 miso soups. Everything was good nothing to say WOW. But it was good. It feels nice and cozy inside its a small space with about 10 total tables and probably sits around 30+ people not including the small 4 seats for the bar area. As we waited which was about a half hour, im surprised to hostess didnt even bother asking if we wanted any water or edemame(since they’re both free) just little touches like this make your costumers feel more welcome, & make them even more pleased witg their entire experience, even if thet are dinning out. Anyway i probably would go back but just because i was lef craving the salmon terriyaki dinner special which come with tempura veggies and shrimp. For about 14 bucks. But thats about it. The waitress wasnt rude or but i was displeased in how i felt negelcted as a paying costumer, they dont have a bench to sit and wait on so we were occupying a 4 seat table. & Its not like we just walked in and out. Like i said it wasnt bad the food was good, but the awkwardness of just sitting there with all the people eating and drinking around us made me unconfortable. I mean its a sushi place the food it out in less than 7 minutes for people dinning in. But since we had a large order it obviously took longer. My husband was also interested in their peach & pineapple sake which i dont think ive ever seen at too many other places.

I come here a lot because everyone else wants to eat sushi. They love this place and my house is right down the street so of course it’s easy to pick me up on the way. I will have chicken sometimes or I go next door to jersey mikes and have a sub if I’m really hungry. I like that they never get grumpy about me bringing my food in here to eat with my group. Today I only had a soda and a bag of chips for my son. They sat our group and never complained about his food. I left a nice tip for that even though we weren’t eating because they gave me great service and I was taking up a spot in their restaurant talking with my friends. We could get all our food to go but that kills the social vibe that we are going for when we have lunch. The weather has been ugly and this is a nice break. I highlight recommend them. Their food is also good.

I could eat here everyday. The sushi is fresh and tasty! I love how they constantly offer a few new dishes but still keep the regular stuff. My favorite is the Kim Roll. We have been to many sushi places but always seem to come back to Love Sushi. We love how they immediately serve edamame and a drink while you are looking at the menu.

The Sushi is good. Not the best I’ve had but it is however affordable. The Masago sauce is fantastic. The staff is really friendly and always helpful if you have questions. The biggest problem I have here is that it is dark inside, which is usually not a problem, but there is a large TV that is way too bright for the dark environment so while you are eating the restaurant is flashing different colors and brightness. The music is also often too loud to carry a conversation with the person across from you which is a huge turn off for a sushi date place. If you’re not on a date or planning to hear your friends then this is a great lunch spot.

Worst sushi ever in my lifetime. The only flavor I can get, was mayonnaise with rice. Service is really sloppy, and nobody care. Costumer service doesn’t exist. We were a party of five, and only four orders came from the kitchen. One of my friends didn’t get his food. And because they were ready to close they couldn’t bring anything to him. The owner or lady in charge solution was us to split our food with him.
