There are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to sub sandwiches and plenty of them who just can’t compete with the best options out there. There are only two places that are worthy of me spending my money at and Goodcents just happens to be one of them. Lucky for my wife and I, the only location in Minnesota just happens to be a few miles from our home. What sets this place apart from such sub shops as; Subway, JJ’s, E&G’s, Milio’s, Quizno’s, Potbelly’s and others is, the bread is better tasting, the fresh trimmed meats right in front of you is better quality, the fixins’ are better quality and cookies are amazing. The only place that I would consider to be a bit better than this Goodcents Subs is Jersey Mike’s and they’re starting to pop up everywhere! If you get a chance to check out Goodcents, make sure you get the Goodcents Original on either bread selection with the standard fill(minus the matoes for this guy).

Just got another sub from Goodcents. The meat is fresh cut and deli thin. The bread is fresh and delicious. The customer service is always top notch and the place is impeccably clean. This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in the south metro. They also offer pastas and soups, but I have never tried them. Stop in, you won’t ever go anywhere else!

3 words are needed to describe this place: Friendly, Fresh subs. I have been here several times and I am not sure why I haven’t reviewed before but… The people are always friendly and attentive, the fresh ingredients are a big selling point for this place. They slice the meat for each sandwich, how can you beat that? They have 3 sizes of sandwiches there but the most common is the 8″ and 12″ they sell some with the small 4′ version. They have hot and cold options, Philly steak, deli meats and buffalo chicken to name a few. They focus on fresh and for those of you who like variety, they have a Coke Freestyle machine with hundreds of options. They have 3 types of fresh baked cookies that will most likely be the best cookie that you will ever put in your mouth. They are always fresh and soft, full of goodness. They add bacon to any sandwich for a small add-on price(maybe $ 1 or $ 2) The bread is super soft not like the hard bread at the other popular national chain. They make every sandwich to order and slice your meat in front of you. I have also used them last year for catering and they were on top of it all the way. I have always been satisfied with this place. This is the first and only one of it’s kind in Minnesota. I think the owner told me that they are big in the Tennessee area is where he experienced the greatness and wanted to open one here. Stop by and give it a shot, it is in a strip mall next to Target on Pilot Knob Rd and 160th St. Be sure not to forget to grab a cookie. Oh, maybe I should order a platter of the cookies for my sone for his birthday next week! I talked myself into that one! Have fun Unilocaling!

We just ordered for the first time based on Unilocal reviews. The food was excellent and fast. Based on Unilocal reviews we also tried the oil and vinegar dressing; good call. We had a club sub, a roast beef sub and our daughter had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken, all excellent.

This would have been four stars for the quality of the food and service. However, I lowered the review by one star for the $ 2 delivery fee which feels woefully out of touch for the sandwich delivery market in the area. That being said, I ordered a footlong club on their sweet bread. It was delicious. The bread was soft and freshly baked. Definitely worth checking out and a nice option for switching things up when you need your sandwich fix and are tired of the alternative options.

Live in Cobblestone Lake and never went until about a month ago. Really liked it! Subs are great and fresher than Subway. Great other options, too. Will definitely be back!

This was my first time here. Was lured by the $ 2.99 sub sign on multigrain Bread. These subs are for the signature subs. I ordered takeout mesquite turkey with pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and black olives. My sauce was oil and vinegar per another Unilocalers suggestion. Also had honey mustard added. I skipped their mayo as it was Krafts not Hellmans which I prefer. Sándwich maker had to ask for me. The Bread was not overly thick and doughy which was ok. The sándwich Kinda reminded me of Mickey’s in Brainerd and Nisswa. The reason for 4⁄5 is it was messy. The tomatoes were also pale and flavorless. Can skip next time. The Prices seemed higher but it was good. Was greeted with a hello as I entered. Will probably be back as son will play baseball at Quarry ballpark across the street.

I arrived early(just opened) and was greeted and treated perfectly. I explained that I had never been to Goodcents, and the owner/sandwich master gave me all the answers. The suggestion of wheat bread was spot-on. I chose the club, could hardly wait to get home and enjoy, and LOVED my sandwich. Oil and vinegar put an awesome zip on an awesome sub! Definitely will return.

Excellent place to eat. We have eaten there over 10 times. They slice all the meat to order not pre-sliced crap like Subway. Sandwiches are reasonably priced and come in three sizes. Definitely I recommend this place if you are anywhere near it stop in and you won’t be disappointed. Service is excellent everybody is super friendly.

So my 8 year old decided we should try this place again… I make him try vegetables he doesn’t like repeatedly so how could I say no? Staff was pretty friendly, food wasn’t any better than the last time, my 8 year old likes it because«it’s something different». For our two sandwiches, chips and soda, it was over $ 18. I don’t see the value of going here. I noticed a family, what I am assuming is the owners? Sitting at a table doing homework, and other stuff, just kind of strange for a small place like this. Makes it kind of uncomfortable.

Very fresh and good! Could be a little speedier, but normally not too busy. I see a lot of competition moving into the area soon. Prices comparable to subway. Bread is very fresh and soft. Slice the meat right in front of you! Yum! The«cool» coke machine with 1000 choices.

A rainy day is a good day to visit a Unilocal bookmarked business. It rained today, so I made the drive to Goodcents. I walked in and was greeted before the door swung closed behind me. I glanced over the menu and opted for their Italian signature sandwich with the«standard dress». When I was ready to order I walked to the counter and the 2 employees awkwardly stared and waited until I made the first move. A simple«what can we make for you?» or something of the sort would have made this social interaction less weird. Anyway, I ordered and was impressed with the fact that they really do slice the meat fresh right in front of you upon ordering. I was unimpressed with the portions of 1 of the meats she put on and was really unimpressed with the 3 pieces of small Subway-style triangle cheese they put on my 12″ sub. HOWEVER, those negative feelings faded away and I recognized them as poor assumptions after taking a few bites of my sandwich. The first thing you will notice is the bread. This is good bread. I had white bread for my sandwich, it was fresh, soft and chewy throughout. It really is awesome and pretty much made the sandwich. The meats on the Italian had a bit of spice which was a nice surprise. My previous portion concerns are gone due to all of the ingredients blending together perfectly to make one yummy sandwich. I look forward to going back and trying something different. As a seasoned Jimmy John’s and Erbert and Gerbert’s patron, I can tell you right now there is a noticeable difference in the quality of meats, veggies and especially bread. If it weren’t so far away from me I would make it my usual sandwich spot. Good job guys, keep it up!

I’ve just discovered Goodcents. I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the customer service was great. The overall atmosphere was very family friendly. In contradiction to a recent comment, I was in at 8:55 and was served like it was lunchtime. I’m totally hooked.

Showed up at 8:40 pm. The store is open until 9. When I entered I was told that over 65% of the menu was no longer available. Why stay open then? Either be open or close. Don’t be partially open. I was partially perturbed and put my pocketbook back into my pants.
