I’ve been a patient at this clinic for 16 years now, and I don’t intend on leaving unless I move too far away. Dr. Orandi is my PCP, and she’s incredible(as well as her nurse), but if she doesn’t have an appointment time that works for me I’ll see any of the other physicians there, and they’ve all been great as well. Not only that, they have several specialists right in the same building, which is extremely convenient. All the staff at AVMC is there to support you — the doctors, nurses, receptionists, billing and insurance ladies, medical records ladies. But you do need to be proactive when it comes to your health/finances/schedule/etc. They don’t know you’ve had a physical pain if you don’t tell them; they don’t know you’re struggling to pay your bills if you don’t tell them; they don’t know you work 60 hours/week if you don’t tell them. I guarantee you they will do everything they can to help you with any of those things. For myself, I had and insurance«issue» and ended up with a large bill that I couldn’t pay all at once. The billing office set me up with payments I could afford, but I did have to call and tell them I needed help. I’m trying to come up with at least one way they could work on improving, and all I can come up with is actually not even a big deal in the grand scheme of things — the parking lot is «tight». There’s always enough spaces, but sometimes going around corners people have to back up to let someone through. It’s certainly not anything that would deter me from being a patient there!

I would not do business with this clinic as they cannot keep there billing records straight, I have never been to the clinic and they keep calling me and hassleling me about an outstanding bill. Each time they tell me «Oh, we have the wrong person but I have yet to get an apology» My assumption is if they can’t keep their billing correct then you don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of a correct medical record chart”.

Quick and efficient. Wait time for Doc is usually pretty fast. The receptionists are nice and the waiting area in the lobby has coffee/bakery goods. I go to a specific doctor for my FAA medical license and here at AVMC, the go-to guy here is Dr. Benson. He takes appointments and I never have to wait too long. Complete the online FAA MedXPress form and bring the confirmation code/email with you and that’s all you need in order to get your medical. Very convenient location and the waiting area never seems cramped. The lighting in the lobby has this soothing glow while sitting waiting for your appointment. There are magazines and newspaper scattered around the area. I never felt the need to twiddle my thumbs as I found things to do there. Parking can be a hassle with the narrow lanes of pathways. Be cautious going in and out of the parking lot because it is literally right next to the main road.

It’s a hit or miss with good doctors here. However I do like that I have been coming here for years for our urgent care needs and I do like that it’s the same urgent care doctors here for the most part. They are quick to check you in and at least get you in a room even if the wait is long.

I’ve had to head to this urgent care several times. I’ve always been impressed with the quality of everyone including the administrative staff, nurses, and doctors. They treat patients with respect and always seem to keep things moving even when they are clearly busy.
