Apple Valley Eyewear

I was very impressed with my experience today getting a check-​up and ordering glasses. They took me as a walk in, and had me (and my wife) done with our exams in about an hour (maybe 90 minutes). We went elsewhere to price frames, but ended up coming back as the «other place» was priced about the same. After selecting frames, the staff (Brisa) was extremely nice, and laid out all our cost options for various features of my progressive lenses. THey may be a bit more pricey than Wal Mart or Target, but I still spent considerably less than my last pair of glasses/​frames (from somewhere else). Great experience overall!

Been going here for about 3 – 4 years now and I have finally decided to leave and find some place better. When I first came here it was great but as I got older they started to mess up with my prescription. At first I didn’t mind (people make mistakes) but then it was happening every time I would come in. This last time I came in and they checked my eyes insisted I was a certain prescription and when I told them I wasn’t they forced me to take home a box of contacts that I knew would be uncomfortable, so the next day I came back and told them and they checked my file and said «oh you’re in the wrong set» uh duh! So they gave me two boxes and told me the others would come in about a week. Four months later they called and said I had contacts waiting for me, then said oh and you’re do for another appointment. So done with this eye place. By the way only met Dr. Etchells once the whole time I was there. Ha

So thrilled to have landed here with my family of 5 eye glass wearers. Dr Etchells is a great Dr, beautiful office, and best of all, an AMAZING staff. We followed our Optician, Karen here, and we have zero regrets. They made it easy to find glasses, were super patient with my picky self, and the vibe in the office is very pleasant. Skip the other places here in the High Desert and come here! It’s a bit of a drive compared to our last eye dr, but worth the extra few miles.

Hey Unilocalers! Well, re-​writing this review as it was deleted somehow! Anyways, if you live up in the High Desert and need an eye Dr, then Dr Etchell and his staff are fantastic!!! My family has been seeing them for years and we highly recommend them. Several times, they have let me come in the same day for eye issues. That means a lot to me, since I like my eyes! They have a great selection of eyewear — from Ray-​Bans to Vera Wang and prices are reasonable. The staff is exceptional!!! Super nice and friendly and they always make you feel welcome. Dr Etchell is awesome! I have seen him for regular vision check-​ups to eye issues and every time he is friendly and takes his time with you. This is the place to go for your eyes!!! Oh and I hardly every have to wait more than ten minutes to be seen once I arrive and check in.

I love Dr. Etchells’ office. Dr. Etchells is just a very pleasant person. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’ve not had a bad experience with any of the staff that I’ve seen there. Sometimes I wait a little, but I’m usually seen right away!
