We stopped here after a multi-​day trip down the wild Neches River. We pulled out at the bridge on 94 and spent the rest of the day drinking at Jimmy’s until our ride came. Folks were real friendly and even bought us some drinks after we ran out of cash. This seems like it would be quite the party in the evening even though Lufkin is no longer a dry town.
