Rebounderz of Apopka

Another great addition to the city of Apopka, Rebounderz is a blast for kids and adults. We came here with a Groupon in hand, but the pricing is reasonable even without that discount. Know up front that you will have to purchase socks, but once you have done so you can bring them back again and again (and if you have a kid, that will be soon). The place is quite large, with options to free jump, play dodgeball or other sports, dunk and shoot basketballs, and jump into a foam pit. My son, who is 6, as well as his friends had a fantastic time with just about everything there. As an adult, I had a blast right along with them. Who knew dunking a basketball off a trampoline would be so exhilarating?
The foam pit seemed to be the big star of the show, as you could do flips and land with having to worry about hurting yourself. A big tip here, if you are an adult, the bigger you are (I’m 6’1″), the harder it will be for you to get out of that pit. It is like trying to wade through quicksand, and after four of five attempts, you will be spent. Kids can just glide over those big pieces of foam and basically swim out. They had basic food and snacks, and were courteous to have filtered ice cold water available at the counters for free (a nice touch so you don’t have to use water fountains). Overall, we had a great time, nobody got hurt, and we will definitely be back soon.

Our family came here one rainy weeknight t celebrate my son’s birthday. The girl working the front desk was very friendly and nice. First you must register through their computer system. This always seems a little laborious but is the norm at these jump places. We had brought our grippy socks from Airheadz only to be told we HAD to purchase their socks! What a complete rip off! Granted the socks are only $ 3 each but why in the world are the same socks from a different company not good enough? We were told it was because of insurance. Well, hubby sells commercial insurance and he jumped all over that one! In reality Rebounderz is trying to get extra money from patrons.
So after donning our freshly purchased Rebounderz socks we had the place to ourselves. Apparently one of the employees had been playing the batman game because they’d left about 20 credits which my son happily used up. There were only about 3 staff working the place so they’d rotate from area to area supervising us. I walked out on to the trampoline with my 2yo daughter and held her hands while she jumped. I was quickly chastised for being on the same trampoline with her. Seriously?!? So I had to stand on the blue safety mat while she jumped. I know we have to enforce rules but it seems so silly sometimes! After that incident we had a great time. The foam block pit is surprisingly difficult! I jumped in with my daughter and thought we’d never get out! Dodgeball was fun even though there were only 4 of us. Periodically I had to stop and catch my breath. Amazing how winded jumping makes you! They have a dunk area too with hoops at different heights. Even with the trampoline’s assistance I couldn’t get near the hoop!
Thankfully the place was dead on a Monday afternoon. I could imagine the craziness of this place on a weekend! Once we got past all the rules we had a good time. I guess knowing what to expect next time it will be a better experience.

Watch for identity theft with this place. They have you do your waiver on one of their computers which asks for a lot of personal information, including your driver’s license number! I refused to put my driver’s license number in their system, so they said I could put all zeroes in. Then, they asked to see my driver’s license at the desk. Monkey Joe’s has you sign a waiver on paper and doesn’t ask for a driver’s license number and it’s not in a computer where you don’t know who’s going to get a hold of your information. They have no right asking for information like your driver’s license number! Watch out for this place, that put a bad taste in my mouth.

Very nice people work here who are willing to accommodate all your needs. There’s an arcade, the jump zone, a «foam» pit, a basketball area, and a place to eat. The prices to jump aren’t too bad, either. Fun for all ages but targeted more towards a younger audience – ages 6 – 13. A good place to have a party as well!

This place is awesome! We went to Sky Zone in Clermont and it was Ho Hum. Lots of rules and not much to do but jump around. Here they have basketball with three different height hoops which my 6 yr old loved, a foam pit which is so much fun, a regular jump area, and a dodgeball area. They also have a nice game room and snack bar. The party rooms are also really cool and have different themes but are a little high priced. All in all really fun time

Fun fun fun. Air Basketball. Air Hockey. Skeeball. Great concessions for kids. And a bubbler. And remarkable customer service from the manager!
