Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken & Biscuits

Slowwwwwwww. Drive thru is ridiculous. Lady was nice but it shows that management has no logistical skills to have food ready at noon on a Saturday.

This has to be the slowest place ever. Do not go if you plan on eating anytime within 30 minutes!

Been in here twice and each time I have waited horrific amounts of time in the drive-​thru for simple orders that must be repeated (and I mean three times). Also the lady at the drive-​thru on my last visit claims that tenders don’t come in Spicy. Sorry, I LOVE Popeye’s chicken, but I know that I don’t have to put up with this kind of service (or lack thereof) to get it. I won’t stop here after a day at Rock Springs again.

Popeyes Chicken is a fast food chain located throughout the south. And who better to know fried chicken than Southerners? Out of all the places to get fired chicken Popeyes has topped my list since childhood.
The restaurants have inside dining but we have always used the drive through and took dinner home. The chicken dinners are perfect for picnicking or days at the beach/​park. I haven’t indulged as much recently because like anything that tastes good, fried chicken obviously isn’t good for you. But we did grab some dinner last weekend and it was a good as I remembered.
The hardest part of getting the dinner is not sneaking a bite of the hot, delicious smelling chicken before you make it home. The chicken comes in two varieties, mild or spicy. The chicken is always moist and super crunchy. The biscuits are wonderful too; they are perfectly soft and buttery. Their other sides are all good: red beans and rice, Cajun mashed taters, fries, cole slaw… Take your pick and indulge every once in a while.
