Denny’s

I don’t have really much to say other than the regular run of the mill restaurant. Just don’t visit on holidays they tend to get very busy and things get slow. But other than that just your typical Denny’s.

This was one of the worst experiences my family has had. It was honestly ridiculous how long the wait was, so bad that we left before we even got our food because we had been waiting for over an hour. I would have given them 0 stars, but that was unavailable. They kept giving excuses when we tried to ask but it became clear that even after an hour, our food was no where near ready. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Walked in on Monday 8/​31, it smelled like mildew/​dirty water. taken past unbussed tables to a booth the floor was dirty and sticky. The table was dirty with pepper and crumbs all over. We left said we’re not staying nobody cared. Does not even rate one star but Unilocal made me

The building that once was a Denny’s is once again a Denny’s. The inside has had a much needed overhaul and is completely renovated to one of their newer decors. It’ not bad, for a Denny’s, and is still pretty clean. My kids love that they can get breakfast for dinner at Denny’s. On our last visit we were served by a somewhat odd individual. He spoke with in an overly complicated, grand way that reminded us of a strange server we’d once had at the Bob Evans in Mount Dora. Could this be the same guy?!? That aside he didn’t go a great job. It started when he said they were out of milk (at a Denny’s?) but later he said some had been found. Maybe he was new a didn’t know where to look.
Anyway, the food arrives quickly and is your typical Denny’s. If nothing else it’s consistent and I must say their pancakes are pretty good. It would be nice if they had real maple syrup instead of the maple flavored high fructose corn syrup that’s on the tables though. But, it is hard to screw up eggs. You know what to expect at a Denny’s and this one holds its own.

I used to live in Apopka and I was there a couple of weeks ago and discovered they built a new Denny’s on Main Street! I was so glad to see they built a good restaurant (esp breakfast anytime!) where there had been an abandoned eyesore for many years. It’s a really new and fun building design. Sorta diner-​ish. Love the counter area. And, of course, the food was real good. Kudos!

Ok so yes it is a Denny’s but when it comes to a chain diner this particular Denny’s is on point. When I walked in I noticed it didn’t have that sewage smell I normally get from a Denny’s diner so that was a plus. It was super clean on the inside as well as the outside. Every staff member that I interacted with was pleasant and attentive. My waitress even created a drink at no extra charge for my friend that I came with I think it was a sprite with cherry flavor. The food was hot and made exactly as we ordered I definitely will come back to this location whenever I am back in Apopka again.

This is my second time here. The first time was a horrible experience with a terrible wait staff and cold food. My husband wanted to come for a late breakfast and I begrudgingly agreed. So on a Monday at almost 11 AM they are already out of sweet tea and Coke! Unbelievable ! We’ll have to see if the food is warm. That will be my gauge if I ever come back. And this should be a half star.

I like Denny’s so don’t get me wrong. I walk in a see they are busy, but there is a line of people waiting to be seated. After standing for a few minutes someone came over and handed us a paper and said write your name and how many in party then walked away. In a business guest should not have to do that. The host should be taking names and how many.

Why do a review for Dennys? By all means it’s Dennys there is one in every neighborhood. But this location is awesome, food is done just right, service is great, friendly wait staff. Since its opening in February I’ve been going every Friday. And now it’s Tuesday and I think I might just go tonight. Dennys in Apopka is one of the best Dennys in the Altamonte, Orlando location

My family and I went the week they had their grand opening. Loved it!
I’ve been in Apopka over 25 years and remember this location use to be an old Denny’s in the 90’s. I’m happy to have it back. Breakfast is the best here. Great prices, great service and the food is terrific. The kitchen needs to get the orders correct, that was the only problem we encountered on 2 separate visits. One of our wait staff was ‘Amber’ & the other was ‘Roben’, both were attentive, friendly and very sweet to all my family members. All the errors were corrected quickly and we left very happy both times.
