I have been attempting to make 2 appts for about 6 months for 2 groupons I purchased. I had these scheduled, then a day before those took place, I was called and told a therapist was out and I would need to reschedule. When I asked for the next available Saturday, I was RUDELY told that Saturdays are never available because they are booked so far in advance and that I would HAVE to schedule sometime during the week. I did reschedule, but then something came up and I had to cancel. The person was so rude on the phone when I told her this, she literally hung up on me as I was trying to reschedule for another day. Then came the fun part… calling once a week (for about 3 months now). Leaving messages that I want to schedule, please call me back, etc
last attempt was a few minutes ago. Now I’m just irritated. I will be calling Groupon for a refund.

We had a great massage on our first appointment a few months ago so we bought some Groupons when they became available. We struggled to get appointments over the phone for about ten days, so finally we went in person to make appointments. We waited for the owner to finish a massage and finally got some appointments, but no apology. We arrived for our appointments to find the business closed for what appeared to be days due to the UPS attempt to deliver note, we tried toe schedule for more than two weeks without getting through or getting a call back. Groupon did refund our money thankfully. I do not recommend anyone purchase any certificates ahead of time for this business as they are likely to expire before you can use them. This is probably the most disorganized business I have have tried to interact with in current memory. Sadly, to add insult to injury there is never a call back or an apology.

Horrible customer service over the phone. The woman was very rude. Almost bought the 2hr massage groupon but called first to inquire on hours of operation and availability. The lady was snappy and hung up on me midst sentence while trying to ask her a question. Obvious amateurs who have no business in spa/​aesthetics!

I purchased this groupon a long while ago. I patiently waited for the business to move and open back up, once they did I left several messages and no response was returned. In January, I finally got a hold of someone and explained that I would like to book two 2-​hour massages. Today, just before my appointment I was told that they did not have such availability. After I stated that I had made an appointment for two people, the receptionist stated that this could not have been possible and that I made an error. I explained that the reason my appointment was in March was because I had to wait for availability; I booked this appointment shortly after the new year. She insisted that I had made an error and they did not have such availability for today. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service of this business, their attitude, and their lack of assistance. Not only, I had to wait a while for them to open and had to place multiple calls to make an appointment, I also did not get the scheduled services. No professional!

I’m not sure why this place is called The Massage Center. If you look on The Massage Center’s website they sound like each center has multiple licensed massage therapists who work in an actual massage center with multiple rooms and have a menu of 14 different types of massages to choose from as well as the option for a body wrap. I was expecting this place to be similar to a Massage Envy but it was far from it. It’s located in a run down hair salon/​barber shop with only one tiny room for massages. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on inside the «salon». Not very relaxing! And instead of having a dimmer for the light they have a Christmas nite light instead. The room itself seemed very low-​budget. The room is so tiny that the «massage therapist» has to literally squeeze between the table and wall to massage different parts of your body. I was never asked what kind of massage I wanted, I finally had to speak up right before the massage started, and the massage was mediocre at best. I bought the Groupon deal of $ 39 for a 90 minute massage and even at that rate I felt that I paid too much. The massage therapist seemed nice but she wasn’t very professional and I wouldn’t be surprised if she wasn’t licensed. Instead of a typical scrubs-​like uniform she wore jeans and a tee shirt, didn’t look very well-​groomed and made strange noises with her mouth through the entire massage which was extremely distracting. But probably my biggest gripe was the way she didn’t respect any levels of my modesty. Like a lot of people who get massages, I take off all my clothes so nothing is in the way during the massage. Of all the massages I’ve ever had this was the first time I felt exposed and almost violated, if you will. Granted, I was never touched inappropriately or anything like that, but there’s a certain way a professional therapist maneuvers the sheet to keep you covered and keeping you from feeling uncomfortable. While working near my upper thigh area, whether while I was on my front or back, she never used the sheet properly to keep me covered. I felt like she flung it off me each time and I felt VERY exposed to the point that I was shifting my body to try and stay covered and I had to tug on the sheet. I couldn’t imagine getting a body wrap at this place. One, I can’t imagine they’d have space to do it and, two, this place doesn’t seem very sanitary. Would I recommend this place or go back? Absolutely not!
