Shine My Ride LLC

Sounds like my review is just piling on to the Living Social bandwagon. I wish I could leave a 0 star rating as well… It is so frustrating that I not only patiently waited for the appointment that I had to schedule a month in advance, but once I got the email confirmation I cleaned out my car to have it ready for them and the now show. I call several times to the different numbers, emailed them from the website and from the email listed on Living Social and… Crickets. They never contacted me. They should be banned from Living Social.

They’ll probably repackage themselves after these bad reviews… but just want to add to the pile.
I purchased from LivingSocial. Tried to schedule for 6 months. Weather prevented us from several appointments, but when my day finally came, it was BEAUTIFUL outside. I got an appointment reminder. Had my car cleaned out and ready for them… and they did not show. I called all of their numbers listed several times over the course of the next two days and emailed and left a facebook message, but nothing. No response whatsoever.
I contacted LivingSocial and they returned my money with deal bucks plus 10 extra for my trouble. Katharine S’s review says «…your money is gone…» however, I use LivingSocial often. It’s not gone. It’s like STORE CREDIT when you return something to a store that you did not like. I’m happy that I got anything back, to be honest.
Stay far far away from this company. If you see any more detail companies from Apex, check them out thoroughly before buying anything. They even have what seems to be a private registration on their website so you have no way of truly contacting them. Very poor service. ZERO star rating, if I could.

Update: Living Social says they will only refund my money via «Deal Bucks» to buy a different voucher, not refund the $ to my credit card. Beware — both this company *and* Living Social are apparently making good money bilking customers, so your money is gone if you buy this voucher.
In addition, the company’s representative lied to the BBB, saying they came to my home at the appointment time — I was home and in sight of my driveway from well before the appointment until well after it. No one ever even drove past the house. I am filing a complaint with the NC Attorney General’s Consumer Protection division and encourage those who have been defrauded by Living Social and Shine My Ride to do the same.

I bought two Groupons for Shine My Ride and scheduled the appointments. They were book months out, but I was finally able to find an open time through their Schedulicity website. I received a confirmation email a few days before my appointments, but no one ever showed up to clean my cars and I never got a call or email explaining the no-​show. I left the company a voicemail, send a message into their website and posted on their Facebook wall but still haven’t heard back. Looks like I’ll be cancelling my Groupons and getting a refund. Very disappointing!
