My Girlfriend’s Closet

It’s a cute boutique/​thrift store. They’re all used items that are in good to excellent condition. They don’t have a huge selection for sizes small and smaller (or 0 – 2), but it’s a decent amount. There are a lot of dresses to choose from and a lot of their brands are designer makes. Because it’s a thrift store, a lot of their items are pretty out of date. But again, like most thrift stores, you can find something good if you dig! Their shoe sizes range from 6 (very few though) and up (they have a lot of 7.5−8.5).
They also buy used clothes, but you need to make an appointment for that.

This place is so much fun! The staff is always friendly and has excellent fashion sense. It seriously is like raiding your girlfriend’s closet.

Such a great little find. I always find one or two unique pieces to add to my wardrobe and it’s such a fun place to shop too.

This is such a great find tucked away in downtown Apex! They have high quality items (some still have the original tags on) that are very reasonably priced. For the longest time I thought consignment shops were like Goodwill, but after stopping by My Girlfriend’s Closet, I may never shop regular retail again! They carry brand names and things that are in fashion. The customer service is wonderful too. The last time I was in, I found a great bag but decided to wait to purchase it. Today I called to see if they still had the bag and the lady who answered was sweet enough to take my number and then go look for it, saving me making a separate trip (which is huge with gas being so expensive!). I would highly recommend checking out this wonderful little gem.

Having a consignment store in a turn of the (last) century house makes browsing like opening lots of presents. Leaving one room and entering another brings with it the anticipation of a new find of the perfect shirt, pants, sweater, dress, scarf, etc. As you walk down the hallway, you’ll see luggage sets in the most eye-​catching patterns (one set was pink with big polka dots) and some unusual jewelry and bags.
My Girlfriend’s Closet is a cute store where a surprise exists in every room. There’s a selection of good quality clothing for nearly every taste, from the casual to the semi-​formal, and even accessories to complete the look. I couldn’t quite figure out how the clothes were separated, although it appears each room has a different range of sizes. One room was nothing but shoes. It’s cozy in here, in the back rooms, so if you’re really claustrophobic, stopping here will require a few deep breaths. The prices, a tad higher than other, similar consignment stores in the area, are still well below retail; but even then, MGC comes with a promise of finding that perfect wardrobe filler. You can’t say that about many places and particularly in a setting that carries with it that promise.
