Buyer Beware. We used this company last summer to lay sod and they did a great job. We used them again this summer to lay additional sod in areas that had not recieved it last summer. This time around, there were some areas of concern. We took pictures of the sloppy edge work, patches of sod that were dead after 24 hours and contacted Carl to come fix them. He was not happy to come back and fix them and was in fact very rude. Told me all the mistakes were our fault. Yelled at me in the front lawn while holding my toddler and told me, that we were the worst customers he’s ever had and stormed off. He eventually came back to fix the work after my husband called and threatened to cancel the check that we had given him for payment.
In addition, at the beginning of the season, we noticed some brown/​yellow patches in our existing sod and asked Carl to come out and take a look. He told us that it was dog urine from neighbors walking their dogs and did nothing. It was a brown patch fungus, that since left untreated quickly spread and took over a huge portion of our lawn making it look horrible. Had he «known his stuff» we feel this could have been caught sooner and not developed into the problem that it did.
I would never use them again and never recommend them to anyone.
