Too many things wrong with this salon.
1) Was not greeted upon entering.
2) While accompany fiancé for his haicut, I was not offered a seat and had to stand nearby for about an hour.
3) Hairstylist was not attentive to explicit directions given about the cut nor the style.
4) When asked to make changes, the salonist was rude and acted like she did not know what «make it look less like a bowl» haircut could possible mean (and we asked very politely too…).
5) Overall staff did not appear friendly nor professional (when observing other hair salonists’ interactions with customers).
Will never go again and would not recommend to anyone.

I ended up here after calling around/searching the internet for an «affordable» hairstylist in Apex (outside of Costcutters or Supercuts) that could squeeze me in ASAP for a simple hair trim as I only had a babysitter for a very limited window of time. Lucky for me, when I called La Salon in Apex, Marilyn answered and was able to get me in that afternoon for a cut and style at $ 30! For people unfamiliar with the Triangle, $ 30 is a steal for a cut and style so needless to say, I was sitting in her chair a couple of hours later. I walked out with a great trim and style and will definitely back. If you’re looking for an affordable hair stylist in the Apex area that can squeeze you in anytime, Marilyn is your girl!
