I’m not a big gamer so this trip was for my 11 y.o. To me all Game Stops seem cramped but that’s just the store itself. The customer service was great and the guy that assisted us was really a joy. He had a great sense of humor which is always a plus in the customer service field.
He rang up my sons items and noticed that it wouldn’t let him scan my coupon (coupon queen) lol, so instead of him just blowing it off he went out of his way to see what the issue was and immediately corrected it. Once again good customer service and pleasant experience.

Listen, if an employee from a year ago is a jerk, don’t condemn the store. Everyone has a boss. Find the boss.
I see nothing in any of the «review» that says a boss was contacted.

Try the store out for yourself, and if you think you’ll be ripped off be one step ahead. Just point the price out before they get there. Period. Be savvy. (Poor grammar doth not a great review make!)

What a HORRIBLE experience! Employee tried to rip me and my 10 year old nephew off! Here’s what happened:
So we go in w a $ 25 gift card to use that he got for Xmas and he finds a used Assassin creed 4 black flag game for the 360. The sticker says $ 18.99. We get on line, wait forever as it’s really busy, finally get up to pay and the guy takes the case into the back to get the game. Out he comes and rings us up… For $ 27.99! I look at him and say no, the sticker says $ 18.99. He pulls it out of the bag and says «what sticker?». What the… So I look at the case and I can SEE where he peeled the sticker off! I point that out and he tries to fumble thru ignoring my question saying that’s the price. I then tell him they ALL have the same sticker and I tell him to come look w me. So we go out into the store and find multiple ones w the $ 18.99 sticker. He doesn’t apologize, won’t admit he took it off, and basically just talks in circles while ringing me up for the $ 18.99 price.
Great employee. Really. And this wasn’t some kid either but a middle age man.
Thanks for trying to rip off a child. At Xmas. Classy.
