Bojangles Restaurant

Maybe it’s just me but maybe if your fries are called Cajun fries there should be some Cajun seasoning on them. I’ve been going to this location for the past 3 years and recently I’ve noticed they’ve hired some new associates in the past few months. Since they’ve had the new associates everytime I get «Cajun fries» there is literally no seasoning on them. I’ve even tried asking for extra seasoning on them and still get no seasoning on them. There are two simple ways of resolving this issue. 1 you can start putting the seasoning back on the fries or 2 you can rename your fries.

Everyone kept telling me I had to go to Bojangles as I was new to the state coming from the north east, so came here for my first Bojangles experience and it was pretty good as far as fast food goes, I think I might prefer it to other chains. The location itself was a bit messy with plenty on uncleared and dirty tables. I will come back for the tasty chicken whenever I’m too lazy too cook.

It’s fast food but a decent selection. I got a steak biscuit (overcooked) Cajun pintos (yummy) and dirty rice (also good) hubby and daughter had Cajun fries and seasoning u can add yourself didn’t work for them. They oversalted them. Lol I usually feel like I need a bath after Bojangles from the grease but this selectuon wasn’t too back.

I have been coming here for 15 years and today the service was so horrible I probably wont return. They were so screwed up. They had a girl in the drive taking orders and the person on the other end of the string could not understand chicken biscuit, bacon biscuit and a cup of ice. The order was repeated at least 10 times. We got to the window and the gave me a tea. Not what I ordered. Then the have me a cup of water. Not what I ordered. I ask for the 14^th time for a large cup of ice the guy got indignant and wanted to charge me an extra .30 cents for their mistake. I have order this 13 times already. I don’t mind paying the 30 cents. I HATE the way it was handled.
This stupid guy at the window cost this bojangles a customer and whoever reads this and makes a different choice.

Um I love this place. Everytime we come back to town, this is our first spot. Perfectly fried chicken, delicious dirty rice … and the biscuits are always flaky and perfect.
Can’t complain!

I went throught he drive through and ordered my old stand by: Steak egg and cheese biscuit and a side of bo-​rounds. I felt horrible immediately after and wondered, «How did I used to eat like this all the time.» No more fast food for me

I go to this Bojangles on my way home from work. I always get the Supremes Dinner Bo-​sized & it’s always fresh & hot. I go there a lot & I haven’t had a bad experience yet. Quality service & great food.

My girlfriend loved this place when she lived outside the NJ area. She talked about it a couple of times and thought nothing of it. Since I am in NC for business and was in a rush to grab a bite I decided to stop in. A limited menu but they are known for their chicken (umm…duh). Ordered the chicken with a biscuit and mash/​gravy as a side. Prices were decent for what you got. I despise KFC/​Popeyes so this place was a welcomed meal. The chicken was breaded enough but not overly and not oily at all like it’s competitors. The mash was good and the gravy had bits of breakfast sausage which was a surprising delite. Tried their iced tea unsweetened which seems to be the staple along with their chicken. It was like any other one I have had. It’s a good fast food chicken place. The employees are friendly and there wasn’t a line when I went during lunch. ENJOY!

Bojangles is a guilty pleasure. I don’t usually bother with the sides (cajun fries are good, mashed potatoes are indifferent) — I get my chicken, my biscuits, the famous sweet tea, and I’m good to go. Sometimes the chicken is better than the other times, but when it’s good, it’s really good, as are the biscuits, and I’m not even a biscuit lover. If you’re in a need of a quick chicken fix, you could do a lot worse.

Yeah, yeah, yeah… it’s a new year to start a clean slate for eating healthy. But, ya gotta have fried chicken every now and then, right?!
I went here because a Unilocal friend recommended it. Maybe it’s the location? I hear some locations are better than others.
Anyways, failed expectations entirely. The biscuits were bland and going cold. The beans were OK, but nothing special. The fried chicken made me sad. I wanted it to be absolutely finger lickin’ good. This is the South! Show me great to-​die-​for fried chicken. If I’m gonna eat unhealthy food like fried chicken, it’s gotta be WOW! Hey, mamma, whatcha got cookin’? — good. I ain’t gonna run those extra miles for nothing!
The fries were the best part of the meal.
Overall: Maybe my high expectations lowered the star value. But, I won’t be coming back here any time soon. Gimme some GOOD fried chicken, Carolina!
