I would not recommend April’s Cleaning Service in the Raleigh, NC area. They did not truly clean most of the items they claimed they would, even after I asked them to clean certain things a second time before they left my property. They just smeared the dirt around without really removing it. They also ignored cleaning certain areas completely that should have been cleaned, like the top of the fridge, windowsills, vanity light fixtures, cabinets, tubs, and drawers in the kitchen and bath. All still had dust, hair and debris. And don’t pay extra to have the fridge’s inside cleaned. They didn’t get it clean even after I paid extra and asked them to clean a second time before leaving. I asked for a refund, but of course have not heard back from April the owner. April instead offered to send a cleaning crew back even after I already advised her I had to reclean everything myself. I wouldn’t allow them back in my house if they were the last cleaning company on earth.

The good: decent price for the quality of cleaning The bad: This business is totally disorganized and a pain to work with. You’ll be on the phone with several people trying to coordinate what should be a simple process. Nobody at that business seems to know what anyone else is doing so it results in a lot of communication on your part where you’re just repeating yourself. The ugly: they only accept cash or manual-entry of credit card info, meaning you have to read out your card#, expiration date and cvv to somebody who writes it down to charge you later. Some people might be fine with that but it’s 2016 why isn’t there a way to pay via some online invoice? The job was done well, but I won’t be using them again.
