Superstition Zipline

Although the ride is short, it still gives a thrill and the view is amazing. You have the option to purchase photos as well. Worth the trip, especially if you can appreciate the history the town has. Multiple shops to get gifts and souvenirs around and a saloon for live music, food, and drink.

Awesome time! My other half and I took the day to celebrate our anniversary and decided to check out the Superstition Zipline. A quick 30 minute drive from Tempe. Well worth the $ 12 per person, and it’s half that for an extra go around! Not like a normal Zipline, but the views of Superstition Mountain and the town were awesome! The town is a gem, full of history, cool shops, and a sweet saloon to wet your whistle. Todd at the Zipline is doing a great job!

I dont even want to give it one star! My husband & I drove from Phoenix to use this groupon, the picture made it look fun. It literally took maybe 2 minutes, u get backed up to the height of a pole and then maybe and go back down. Being as high as we were we thought it might get a little Rollercoaster sort of feel going back down. It was slow and lame. Lame lame lame lame!!! If we had our children maybe, but it was worth even the money with a Groupon or the time and waste of some our vacation. Very falsely advertized.

Had an awesome time, found a groupon for two for 17 $ and used it for myself riding twice, was a great time wish it lasted longer though.

Pros: lovely view of superstition mountains; NOT scary like a traditional zipline, there is a small handle on the side to hang onto and you are belted into a seat; 2 person seat can hold a combined 450lbds in weight or if you’re hefty they will let you ride alone; you feel like you’re flying a little with the wind hitting your face on the way down, it’s quite nice. Cons: VERY SHORT RIDE, I swear it took a grand total of like a MINUTE. There is a groupon where you can pay $ 17 for 2 ppl but no one else in my party wanted to do it so I had to pay $ 12 at the door. They offer half price re-​rides at $ 6 but I already felt like I had spent too much on it. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS IF it was about 3 times the length for the price or if at this length each ride costed about $ 3 per person.

Very long wait. Short ride, but fun. $ 24 for 2 was pricy. Worth it once. Maybe not twice. $ 10 each would be ideal.

My wife and I rode the Superstition Zipline located at the Goldfield ghost town yesterday and it was so much fun we did it twice! The ride starts off at ground level and then the cable whisks you off backwards at over 25 miles per hour to the top of a distant tower. You sit up there for about 30 seconds getting to enjoy the desert scenery and a birdseye view of Goldfield before the thrilling ride back down starts speeding over 30 miles per hour to ground level! The mechanism to stop the ride results in a swinging motion… nothing jerky or abrupt. We had a great time and we are in our 60s. We watched kids and adults alike enjoy the ride. The zipline operator, Todd, is very friendly and definitely safety conscious.

Not at all worth it. The «zip line» is nowhere near any sort of mountain or view as claimed, and is incredibly anti-​climactic. The thing isn’t even a real zip line, it’s a cable car that drives up the cable then just rolls back down. While the website may advertise it as some sort of «soaring over the mountains» experience, I can assure you nothing is further from the truth. The only reason this even gets one star is I can see the appeal for small children and elderly folk looking for a quick light thrill. The website and descriptions however advertise the experience in a false manner that can lead to a disappointing and frustrating trip. This attraction is most definitely for the faint of heart and should be overlooked by anyone seeking an actual entertaining activity.

We drove almost an hour to experience this fairly lame zip line. Pretty weak even at Groupon rates. The «ghost town» was disappointing, too. A real tourist trap. Not recommended.

This might not be for everyone, but my daughter and I enjoyed it very much. It’s a seated Zipline, so safe for all ages, just have to be a minimum of 42″ tall. It goes up nice and high, so you get a great view of the mountains and the Goldfield Ghost Town. The ride is quick, just about a minute long, but for 12 $ I feel it’s well worth it, if you ride again the same day, its only 6 $. It’s located on the Goldfield Ghost Town property, so lots of neat stuff to check out there too. We will definitely be back again!

Definitely not what I would call zip lining, the name is very deceiving… you sit on a thing that looks like a chairlift, then you go backwards for a bit, then come straight down. The whole thing lasts about 1 minute. They should really change the name, it’s definitely not even close to zip lining

The ride is too short.
For $ 12 per person, it didn’t feel like worth it.
There were a couple of seconds of adrenaline rush. But not worth the money & drive from Tempe.
Plus, they didn’t stop at the highest point as told before the ride. We thought we would be able to enjoy the view for a while. It was too short.
