Perusing their activities board, I’m convinced, they have been making things up. I have never even heard of half of these games, and there’s at least 80 listed. The usual suspects are present. Bridge, Cribbage, Hearts Then there’s some odd ducks. horse tail? not real. I’m onto you. Wood working, and stained glass too. It seems I will need to learn card games before I retire. Working on your fitness is important. How about pool aerobics, led by a certified boom box. Or step aerobics, led my a different boom box. Those ladies seemed to be having a good time, and who needs some young whippersnapper barking orders at you, this way you can just press pause when she gets on your nerves. Community dances in a pretty nice hall. A good place to cut a rug, or have a nice meal with your neighbors. A nice southwestern motif to the grounds, exactly what you want when you’re visiting from Minnesota. Would ya lookit that donkey pulling a cart, Carl! Just the cutest darn thing I’ve ever seen! And lookit this statue of the sleepy Mexican fella, look at that big ‘ol hat he’s wearin, just so sweet, it’ll give ya a tooth ache! And everybody seems pretty happy. There’s even a guy on a moped that looks like Santa. No, I didn’t hug him… but I wanted to. I love Santa. Maybe not the flashiest place around, but it does have that nice community feel. People talk to each other. There was a nice group of old fellas hangin by the pool, I could live like that.
