AA Ranch

I first discovered Double A Ranch a few years ago. Being a gaited horse enthusiast, I would peruse the website every now and then to see what horses she was training or selling. I was not in the need for one but back then I could dream. Plus I had a horse already and was not in the market for buying or having one trained at her ranch.
Fast forward to January 2014. I was finally in a place where I was in need of a new mount. I had spoke to Hope on the phone first and she was helpful, knowledgeable and wanted to know what it was I was looking for. She never hesitated speaking to me on the phone for as long as I needed. I had so many questions and she listened and answered. She knew so much about the gaited breeds and they were her specialty. Don’t get me wrong, she’s been in the horse world working with all breeds many years.
So my husband and I took the 3 hour drive out to Anza to check out some horses she thought might work for me. And yes, I fell in love with a little Missouri Fox Trotter mare she had for sale. I took that little girl home and never looked back. It’s almost been a year and she is my dream horse. I can still call Hope up on the phone and ask her questions or get advice if needed.
Now my husband’s horse is there for some training. He was there for 30 days already several months ago and now we decided to take him up for another 30 days. My husband is a first time horse owner and bought his TWH from a broker. But SUCCESS! With Hope Adam’s training, lessons and help he has turned into one heck of a horseman. The 3 – 4 hour drive up each weekend is worth it. And as I stand around a watch I am bringing home so much that I learned.
Hope Adams is the best trainer/​instructor I have ever encountered. Double A Ranch is forever in my list of contacts in my cell phone. I can’t believe she was not previously on Unilocal! I guess she is Anza’s little secret no more!
