This burger joint is better than nations and in&out and chilies combined. All of the waiters are super nice but the one I was most satisfied with was Andy. He is the most talented and nicest waiter of them all. I strongly encourage you to eat here

I hate going to habit. I only eat here when my work orders us lunch from here. Their veggie burgers and fish burgers are flavorless and when you add avocado or cheese which costs extra they forget it and instead of refunding you they give you a coupon for a burger to come back. I don’t want to come back.

I have never had a bad experience at this location until today. I came into to use a coupon and get my favorite burger which is a teriyaki burger with cheese. I normally come here on my lunch at work which is a 45 min time period so I’m normally in a rush. I got my burger and took it back to work and went to eat it and my TERIYAKI burger was missing the PINEAPPLE the crucial piece to it. I am very upset as I don’t have time to come back to the restaurant without wasting my lunch period. I tried calling the store and only got corporate which was frustrating because they obviously didn’t know what I looked like in the store. Try to do better next time habit.

Worst experience ever at this location !! Cashier Kaila made our experience horrible. Very rude and while in the kitchen her hair was everywhere and also got in our food. Basic Food safety and handling rules. Bathrooms also digusting. So upset with this visit!

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. The food was very good, the restaurant was clean, and they actually had heat going inside, which seems to be a rarity around here. I would definitely eat here again.

Now this isn’t my first bad experience with The Habit. Unfortunately I had an experience with receiving the wrong order at the concord location, which is mild compared to this fiasco. I ordered my food over the phone at 7:14 and was advised the food would be ready at 7:40 and was asked if I preferred the fries to be cooked upon arrival to ensure their freshness. I was fine with that. I get to the restaurant at 7:45 and as expected it’s packed. But I go up to a kid behind the counter he tells me to speak with the girl who was handing out orders and she’d take care of me. I tell the girl I called in an order and she verifies my name and then tells me that my frie would need to be fried and it would be a couple more minutes, which I was fine with. She gives me our drink cups and we wait. Now in the mean time I see several customers receiving incomplete orders, wrong orders and even another customer requesting to speak with a manager because her sons meal had been forgotten. BIGWARNINGSIGN! The poor little girl in the front is running around like a chicken with her head cut off as if she’s overwhelmed and doesn’t know what the hell is even going on. I finally after waiting 20 minutes inquire about my order. Well so are others still apparently! The manager(Marco) then butts in NOT apologetic at all, stating my order was cold so he sent it back to be remade. Well thanks for letting me know! Once he bags it all up he gives me the food and of course I made sure to check it which NOTSURPRISING at all it isn’t my order but the lady next to me! At this point it’s 8:10 going on a order since I ordered my food. I’m sure my facial expression told a lot! The«manager» Marco states well we would have to re make your food, so I can issue you a refund. Again unapologetic for not being able to run his location smoothly and losing or giving away my order(still never found out what happened to my order). I told Marco I’d rather have my money back so he calls over this assistant manager Cassie who ask if I knew I had a confirmation number I explained their wasn’t one given, so she gets on the phone to inquire about my order to know the correct amount to refund me. I ended up being able to pull the amount up which she refunds me the entire amount. I asked Cassie if there was anyway she could reprint my order receipt that came to them she told me she couldn’t. Hmmm. And then stated that all of their phone orders and online orders get printed out at the same time and mind probably got lost in that! Great way to make a customer feel you all know how to handle your job! I ended up walking out of the habit at 8:17, 1 hour and 3 minutes after ordering my food and with no food in my hands! Overall I definitely think this location SUCKS and so does their staff. I plan on reaching out to their district manager to let him know about his Antioch location. It’s just unacceptable. They really need like undercover boss customer edition, so they can see the lack of customer service these idiots carry and how they’re incapable of actually running a high volume restaurant. Never again will I go back to this location, I’ll continue going to the walnut creek location!

This review is for my visit a month ago. At first, I didn’t want to eat at this restaurant thinking that it’s expensive. Found out that the prices are affordable. The atmosphere, décor is very inviting and trendy. You wait in line after walking in to the restaurant to place your order and pay. The cashier would hand you a pager that would light up when your order is ready to be picked up from the pick up order counter. The customer service was horrible. When I was trying to order my food, the male cashier didn’t even acknowledge my presence. He was looking down on the floor. It’ll be great if I was acknowledged with a friendly hello or welcome. Looked like he didn’t want to me be a patron of theirs. I liked their tempura green beans $ 2.95. Wished they gave more green beans in the order though. The Charburger $ 3.15 lacked flavor and it was small. I asked for extra lettuce, tomatoes and onions on my Charburger, but didn’t get extra. They put a thin piece of lettuce, tomato and no onions. I didn’t complain to anyone and just ate it. The photos of the burgers and the shake that I took are my friends’ order. I forgot to take pics of my own order. In & Out Burger has better customer service and better tasting food. Wished that I had a good dining experience at The Habit.

My family and I love The Habit Burger with a passion. Well, this particular spot didn’t meet our expectations compare to the one we always go to in Fremont. First, the strawberry limeade tasted watered down. Second, the fries were soggy and too much salt. I’m used to them being crispy and don’t recall it being salted. Third, the burgers we ordered were just ehhh. Let’s just eat it since we have it in front of us. Fourth, they’re green beans tempura were soggy too. Plus the side threads weren’t taken out! It could be used for flossing lol. The Pacific Commons location definitely have their bar set high and this location, made it looked like a copycat. I think whoever was doing the deep fried foods didn’t let it stay long enough or the temperature of the oil wasn’t set right. Who knows… we will just stick with our Fremont location. My partner and I always pick up and extra burger to split because it was just that good!

It’s ok, not great but beats McDonalds. If you like In N Out, you’ll probably like this place. Charburger — patty is very thin so we really couldn’t taste it(exactly like In N Out). I suggest going with the double char if you want a burger with«regular size» meat. Couldn’t taste much of a char but again, that’s because we couldn’t really taste the patty. With the bacon, cheese, grilled onions and sauce, it was ok. Tuna sandwich — I appreciate that their tuna is sashimi grade. However, as I suspected in advance, the tuna in the sandwich lacked flavor. Tuna just isn’t a very flavorful fish. Nice quality fish, cooked slightly raw. Just pretty bland. There was a sweet terriyaki sauce in the sandwich which is pretty much where the flavor came from. This would be something you’d get if you were on on a diet. Fries — typical fries, done right. Tempura green beans — I liked the concept but bf and I both agreed it was way too salty. Setting was very nice as was service. Nothing too exciting in terms of food. Just another hamburger joint in my opinion but like I said, it does beat the bigger chains.

Hmmm let me start with I LOVETHEHABITGRILL! My favorite location is near Pleasant Hill Bart in the Sprouts plaza next door to Free Birds. Unfortunately due to traffic my lady thought we’d better just head to this location off Lone Tree in Antioch. The location is semi new and I loved the bar/lounge feel seating at this particular location. We were greeted by a friendly smiling manager who took our order with so much class and finesse that I actually thought we’d walked into a high class burger bar in downtown LA. I ordered a Double Char with raw onions, cheese and avocado, with a side salad and a regular drink. For the lady a Double Char, no pickles on sourdough and a side of onion rings. Our totally ended up coming down from $ 18 to about $ 10 with our coupons for a char with cheese. I grabbed my drink and sat in a both near a window with the sun shining in. We waited and our food didn’t take long, unfortunately the short wait was soon forgotten when we got our incorrect order. No avocado on my burger, ranch instead of blu cheese for my salad and little or not acknowledgment of the mistake by the team member who handed my lady our order. So much for the burger bar feel. Now I’m at MC Donald’s. Quickly the kind manager who took our order came over and fixed the situation and even checked in with us after we’d finished eating. The food was HOT and FRESH!!! I was happy gal leaving the Habit Grill.

The service and the decoration of the restaurant are both great! Very clean too! Tri tip steak sandwich is very flavored. Salad is good as well. Wish they had soup.

It’s hard to find a chargrilled burger these days. I had the Char Burger with added bacon and cheese. Had to pay extra for them. For the burger, fries and drink it was $ 9.84. It was a great burger, I defiantly like it better than a Nations burger. Highly recommend!

Very good burgers! But was very surprised to see staff handling food with bare hands! When I asked one of the employees about it, her response was, «I don’t know» Will definitely have to rethink about visiting this place again. At least until they wear gloves.

Found out they were opening one up in Antioch, so I waited. For a couple of months it was too busy. Finally went on a day when it wasn’t busy. Ordered the BBQ burger and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were fine. Just like any other place. But the burger was a bit disappointing. They were really frugal on the BBQ sauce. Overall, I felt the burger lacked flavor. There wasn’t anything special about it. The prices weren’t bad at all, which I was happy about since I really didn’t enjoy my meal. After a long day at work, you want to bite into something satisfying, and that was not it. Not sure if it was because this place just opened, or what, but it just didn’t leave me wanting to come back.

Came in on a Tuesday around noon and was surprised that there was only one person in line. Maybe, I beat the lunch hour rush? Ordered two #1’s charburger with cheese, fries and a drink. I had mine on sourdough and ordered a side onion rings and took it to-go. I love that they have a chili bar, although I don’t like chili’s I thought it was a nice touch for people who do like it. Although this is a burger joint, I like that they offer salads and sandwiches on their menu too. I also enjoy that you can really customize your burger too, such as adding bacon or mushrooms(all of which will cost ya a little extra!) The burger was good. The sourdough bread was delish! The fries were decent but their onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. It’s hard not to compare to In & Out because they honestly taste very similar. The habit had larger burgers than In and Out but they also cost more too! Also, to avoid the lines you can order online, although I don’t like that you can’t order a charburger on sourdough on the website though. I also wish they had a drive-thru.

Pretty solid choice when you are craving a burger. It’s always super busy around dinner time but they manage the masses very efficiently. As I sat & waited for my Togo order, I saw 10 – 15 orders go out and it still only took about 10 minutes for mine to be ready. My only complaint was that they forgot to put cheese on one of my burgers but these things happen. Their fries are a medium to thick cut, with very good seasoning. I can taste a touch of paprika & garlic, with a touch of salt. I like that they do it that way because those that want more salt can add, as desired. They have a little station with jalapeños, pepperoncinis and some crazy hot little yellow peppers. You can even pack some up to go. The burgers are cooked right in font of your eyes. Imagine an in & out burger animal style, no tomato, with lettuce shredded and mayo vs. spread. The bun is a bit more substantial, as well. Plus, they more options — like bacon, mushrooms, salads & sandwiches.
