So after having to go over department head(I hate taking things this far), the department was quick about getting back to me. The associate explained that she was giving the doctor my messages & it was out of her hands if he returns my calls. I appreciated her apology & explanation very much, but I still feel it’s unprofessional that the doctor doesn’t return calls.

I’m giving this business one star because of their shady business practices. DONOT pay for an exam until they issue your prescriptions! They will hold them hostage and try to force to to buy glasses/contacts from them. I will never do business in this place again… I should have known not trust a place that still uses a carbon copy credit card machine.

Bad service, took more than 2 month to get the right contact lens. They dont take care about customer and when I complaint, the older lady hung up. Horrible customer service. Three orders and 4 mistakes. Please get some professional staff instead. I would put 0 star but cant

I wish I’d remembered to check Unilocal first, but the sales price caught me. You truly get what you pay for, and«cheap» best describes Sears Optical. In early December 2011 I bought 2 pairs of glasses, one my everyday glasses and the other sunglasses. I have no problem with the sunglasses, but I’ve only been able to wear my everyday glasses about 4 days since(now mid-January 2012). The lenses were so skewed I was nauseated the 1st week, took them back as unacceptable and it took another 2 weeks to get them back. Wore them 4 days before the nosepiece fell off. Now there’s a problem with the frames, so I still don’t have glasses. The staff’s attitude is surly at best and I’m ready to throw myself on the mercy of Site For Sore Eyes for straying. I learned my lesson and will not be going back to Sears Optical.

Poorly trained staff who gave me wrong glasses, bifocal misplaced first, then lost second order when called after 10 days, then had to send frames in, altogether took more than 3 weeks to get right glasses. Will not go back there!
