I was shopping for a plain wedding ring (after losing mine after 18 years). Their selection was minimal at best. I asked if they had any comfort fit rings. The lady behind the counter looked at me and asked «what is that?». I had to explain to her what a comfort band was!
I have never known any jewelry store ask ME about such a basic thing. I knew right then, this lady (who is representing the store) did not know enough to be selling jewelry. Not a good first impression. I’ll never go back.
By the way, I ended up finding my wedding ring! Thank God!!! Now I need to get it resized. But, I’m NOT going to Mallett & Sons Jewelry, that’s for sure!

I wish the new owners had just been honest and apologized for the previous owners (Their father and father in law) terrible service. I sent them an email after seeing their response to my Unilocal asking if they were located by the Raleys in Antioch, they said yes they had been but had bought it from her father in law. So my point being she obviously knew of the pitbulls and thug behind the counter, but she chose to call me a liar and say it never happened. What she should have done is clarify they were new owners, and apologize to me, that is what a good «professional» owner-​operator would have done. Instead I feel they are being just as shady as the previous owners.

You only get honest deals from rare «mom & pop» shops like Mallett & Sons. That’s how they generate so many repeat customers and always get a warm welcome. Prices are definitely reasonable for great quality merchandise which helped me out so much. I wish I can afford to come back and buy more often.

Mrs. Susie Mallett, first owner of this jewelry shop; she is kindest and nicest person I have ever met. She always warm welcoming me as if I am precious daughter of her.
I LOVE Mallett families’ jewelry shop in Antioch and love their beautiful high quality jewelry sooooooo much !
