I first came here several years ago when I moved close by. I don’t remember what I got but I didn’t like it and that stayed in my mind. I remember ‘boring’. Unfortunate, because I live so close and I love Chinese food At work one day, within the last year, I saw a coworker eating what looked to be very good soup and I asked where she got it and she said Hidden Dragon. I decided to give it another shot. To my surprise and pleasure it was really good! I started wth soups, Hot and sour, mashed chicken and corn. Both were so flavorful and hot. The large comes in two big containers so I got into the habit of getting the large for lunch and bringing half home for dinner. I’ve been here for take out and sit down and service is very good as well. Other dishes I’ve had and liked are mandarin chicken, lemon chicken, beef and broccoli, combo and chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork and fried rice. Didn’t care as much for the curry chicken but it still wasn’t terrible. I like that most sauces for the fried items come on the side especially for to go orders. This really helps for items not getting soggy in transit. Overall, Hidden Dragon is pretty solid. Oh, and they have a full bar and specialty drink menu :)

Hidden Dragon is a restaurant that provides good Chinese food. The restaurant is clean and the noise level is very low. The food is served in a timely manner and the taste of the food is good.

Just like the name it really is a hidden gem. It looks so small looking on the outside but when you walk in to sit down there is a huge dining room with beautiful marble tables and just a stunning color theme that fits well with the lighting. The food is really good just keep in mind sometimes the waits are a bit long. There is a very small bar but would be perfect for a peaceful Friday night! Definitely coming back even if I have to wait a little longer to eat.

Absolutely Horrible Service! Trust the reviews when they say just how horrible the service is here. Only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant tonight and she would barely even give us the time of day. We had to grab our water and plates and glasses from the table across from us. Everytime we tried to ask the waitress a questions she would hurry past our table and ignore us. We waited for over an hour just to get 3 dishes and when we said something to the waitress she acted like it was no big deal and played the victim that it was busy yet by then the restaurant was empty. She said«i only have two hands» …then get more staff! They are so cheap they don’t want to hire anyone and would rather have bad reviews. Then she over charged us on our bill, higher prices than the menu. By then we had had it and complained to the young girl upfront who really didn’t care either. I told her about the experience and that we would write a bad review and she said ok. Lol. They do not care at all about giving bad service here. Will never ever go there again. It looks like they give priority to phone orders. Unless you want to spend your whole evening waiting on your dinner and then have them act like you are inconviencing them when you ask for water and a plate… please do not eat here.

We used to come here on a regular basis and the food was wonderful. Johnny used to work there as a waiter and he was fabulous. Ever since he left, the food and service has gone downhill. The last three times the food was below Panda Express, and the portions have been skimpy. Will not return unless Johnny comes back and the quality improves.

The food is a bit basic for most Chinese restaurants, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a special date or dinner event. Kind of like Chinese fast food. The service is very slow, and the staff are not very enthusiastic or welcoming. Would only recommend for a lazy day where you don’t feel like cooking anything.

I saw the low rating, but I just moved up here from Southern California and my sister-in-law ordered some food from here for us, it was AMAZING! Tasted homemade, and everything she brought home tasted fresh, not greasy at all like most places. I thought the food was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had. Loved the homemade style and flavors,

I almost didn’t want to eat here because of the low rating but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the food and the woman working there was very nice. The food was done on time, it was packaged well, there was a large amount of all of the different items we ordered. We ordered the family dinner A for 3 and had plenty of food left over after stuffing ourselves! I will definitely go back! Sweet and Sour Chicken — slightly less sweet than most Americanized Chinese food but full of flavor and large chunks of veg and pineapple. Broccoli Beef — crunchy broccoli and super tender beef slices. The sauce was plentiful and full of flavor without being over salted. Combo Chow Mein — SOGOOD. probably my favorite part. Large noodles covered in a savory brown sauce with chunks of pork chicken and shrimp. Pork fried rice — standard fried rice. Not overly dry but delicious. Egg rolls — I didn’t like these but I prefer Vietnamese egg rolls. Crunchy veggie rolls. Fried wontons — meat stuffed fried wontons. Yum! Wonton Soup — full of fresh and crunchy veggies and slices of pork. Could have used some salt for my taste but I loved the variety of veggies.

Food is pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. I will definitely come back for the lunch specials. However, I will strongly warn anyone against buying a cocktail here. They sent out the wrong drink twice and then gave up on making a dark and stormy(2 ingredients and on their drink menu) and told my wife to order something else. She ordered their version of a long island ice tea and it was horrible. My Mai Tai was okay, but for 8.25 it shouldn’t be rum and a generic mix. They didn’t even offer to take care of it, but the waitress was nice enough. Come for good lunch specials and stick with water.

Sure has changed… we used to go occasionally over the past 6 years or so and enjoyed the food and service. Now the food has gone downhill as has the service, particularly the service. We won’t be back. Not sure what happened here, but it’s not good.

We used to love this place… would eat here at least once a week. However, lately we’ve noticed a decline in food quality and taste. Seems like they’re trying to cut corners and it really shows!!!

The customer service in this place is hideous! Especially by the owner which makes things even more odd. The food is good but not worth the lack of service. Months ago there was a waiter named Johnny. He was fabulous! He made the place amazing. His attention to detail was impressive. He even remembers our names and orders Everytime we showed up. Now they got rid of Johnny and the entire staff sucks. The owner has a face of an brick wall. He has no emotions. He is rude, too. For example I came to eat around 230 and they close for lunch. But they served us in rush and then just starred at us to leave. Very lack of customer service. I understand the staff but the owner should make his customers comfortable. We didn’t even stay last 3 but damn, he sure was in a rush. This place is not what it use to be! Bring back johnny!

This was absolutely the worst service. I can’t even rate the food because we did not stay long enough. The jerk that was upfront did not acknowledge us for 4 or 5 minutes. Then sat us throwing the menus on the table. The seats are all torn and ripped. Almost 10 minutes no sevice, no water, no greeting. NEVEREVER go here. Even if it’s the last place to eat. As you can tell I am disappointed. I hate it when places don’t care about the hard earned money you are willing to spend. Oh well I am now spending it some where else at Tao San Jin. Much better and just down the street.

The food is okay here. There’s nothing spectacular and there’s nothing that really stands out. The beef were tasty but you don’t get much for $ 9.00. Their version of Peking spare ribs were sub par; way too dry and hard and the pork didn’t taste fresh. I haven’t tried any of their other food, but if I had to order these dishes again, I think I would order them from Mei Mei instead.
