The place is pretty small, aesthetically its not that appealing. But they have really good prices on their frames and they have excellent customer service. Unfortunately they didn’t seem as knowledgeable about the brand frames in terms of different colors that were offered. Overall I had a decent experience.

I just returned from Eye to Eye Optometry and must tell you that it was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had in a Doctor’s office. The staff were very nice and helpful but the most important part was the high level of professionalism and thoroughness that Dr. Linder displayed. Being a health care professional myself, I’m very picky as to the Doctors I see yet I found my experience with Doctor Linder to be just PERFECT. I walked out feeling that my eyes were thoroughly examined! Aside from that, Dr. Linder is so kind and personable, it is impossible not to like her. Lastly, there was absolutely no pressure as to choosing lenses and frames. The staff’s main concern was that I purchased what was the most comfortable and function-able eye-ware for my needs. It was obvious that Dr. Linder and her wonderful staff really care about the patient. In today’s market, this is certainly not the norm. I highly recommend Eye to Eye Optometry Group. Dr. Gene Martin

I recently received new prescription Gucci sunglass. Everything went fine at the time of eye check and getting the sunglass since I have dual coverage and can receive a pair of glass every year. I wore the sunglass only few times and just two weeks ago, I was hugging a friend and the glass fell off my head. It dropped and made a white scratch right in the middle of the vision. I called this office and they were out to lunch. After waiting an hour and half since I leave an hour away and came to this area for a business reason, I finally was told to come in and they will look at it. When I went in the girl who helped me looked at the computer and went in the back and came back and told me it will be $ 190.00. I was blown away by the price and said it is straight lense and I just need it buffed or something. I shows my dissatisfaction on the cost and another lady sat next to us and became very defensive. Please guys show some empathy for your clients, cost is one thing and showing some compassion is another. Customer experience could be better and been defensive is not the strategy to keep clients coming back. Will move to another place where the service is much better.

My husband has been going to Dr. Linder for a couple of years now. The staff here under Dr. Linder’s leadership provides excellent service and work tirelessly to make sure my husband’s contact lens prescription was just right for him. Dr. Linder was also able to look into the eyes to determine whether there are any other potential health concerns that we should be mindful of. When I had a friend who needed immediate attention, Dr. Linder made time for us right away and gave us much needed peace of mind. I just can’t say enough good things about Eye to Eye Optometry Group!

Dr. Linder is absolutely great at helping people care for their eyes. My wife and I went to see Dr. Linder at Eye to Eye Optometry because my wife was experiencing blurred vision when staring at her computer screen at work. It was also causing a mild headache for her. We made an appointment with Dr. Linder on a Thursday after 5pm when my wife was of work and she did an eye exam. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, caring and understanding throughout the entire process and determined that my wife needed glasses for use while looking at computer screens. She has a lot of stylish solutions for eye glasses and we were able to select two beautiful eyeglasses that can be used while looking at a computer all day. The service and the experience was very pleasant and above and beyond what I had expected. I just want to say thank you to Dr. Linder for your excellent care of my family.

Lately I’ve been seeing«floaters» and I was a bit concerned. After an eye exam by Dr. Linder and a thumbs-up that my vision was great, I felt much better. Apparrently I need to reduce my levels of stress! She’s got a great disposition, is very informative, and takes the time to listen to my questions. Those are all important qualities in a doctor. After this most recent visit, I feel even more comfortable and confident that Dr. Linder is doing what’s in my best interest. Just before I left, Dr. Linder noticed my sunglasses weren’t sitting correct on my face and had one of her team members adjust them for me. SO awesome!

My son and I went in a Wednesday(short-day at school), a couple of years ago, and no problem, although I didn’t end up getting my glasses there because they were expensive there. So I don’t know if this is a new policy, or if it didn’t apply to me and him because we were there before 3 pm that day. I just now tried to get an early evening appt for husband(who works in Martinez, for CC County) and my other son(who goes to school in Martinez) and they don’t get home before 5 pm, and the office’s only«late» night is Thursday. After choosing a time for each of them, I was asked about the insurance, then put on hold. When the person came back on, I was told that the Dr doesn’t take that insurance after 3:30 pm on ANYDAY, nor on SATURDAY(the only weekend day they are open). Um, what?! When I asked why, as it shouldn’t make a difference, I was told that’s just the Dr’s rules. Wow, very unimpressing.

Thank you Dr Linder for the excellent care. My eye exam was thorough and caring. The office has a comfortable and welcoming feel. I accidentally broke my glasses after I left. Dr. Linder was gracious enough to modify a loaner pair while I wait for the arrival of my new glasses. Wow! Way beyond what I expected. The loaner glasses are much nicer than the pair I had in high school. Somethings should remain in the eighties. Thank you again for the consistent wonderful care.

I like Dr. Linder’s personality okay(she’s friendly and easy going) but I’m not sure my refractions have been all that great. At night, I have a lot of glare/halos coming off lights that makes it difficult to judge distances. When I purchased my glasses here, I was surprised that they did no fitting. I was handed my glasses; told to try them on; looked straight in the face and nothing else. My experience, with an optometrist I saw for many years, is that he would fit the ear pieces so that my glasses were not sliding down my nose or falling off when I bent over. Another time I had the prescription updated in a favorite pair and they have fallen apart on me twice, when they never did before, and I’ve worn them for at least ten years. When I took them in for repair less than a year after the lenses were updated, the optician would have charged me to fix them if I hadn’t protested. Not to mention that they wouldn’t sit straight on my face after he «fixed» them. I have found Eye to Eye rather frustrating to do business with and am looking for an optometrist that feels more service oriented.

Have been here a few times and usually get decent service. This time we had a problem getting both the kids together or even on the same day! When we went in(on a Saturday which states«by appointment only») the place wasn’t that busy but the greyhound bus rolled up and 85 people rolled in. Just kidding but it sure seemed like that. They took my stepson back for his exam(first time for contacts) and he vanished, he was gone so long I thought about putting him on a milk carton, you know«if you’ve seen this child call 1−800-HELPMEE. Anyway he finally comes back(he went in he was 13 now he has a wife and two kids) and the Dr says we have him fitted for the contacts we will have Him practice putting them in and pick out some frames. Some more time passes(I am now in a wheel chair and he’s putting his own kids through college) when we ask whats taking so long they mumbled something and we said can we just forget the glasses and we’ll come back, now the kicker… She says that will be $ 100. Does that include the the contacts NOOO. Now we have insurance but they don’t cover the exam for contacts? HUH? And you didn’t mention this because? We have to pay for the contacts next. I don’t know about you but when I go somewhere for a service I expect that, service. They had way to many customers and not enough staff to take care of them, hence the wait. Second if something isn’t covered by your insurance an Oh yeah the insurance doesn’t cover this and it will be around $xxx. Overall we’ll go somewhere else next time. Oh and if you’re wondering he’s old enough for social security by the time we got out of there.
