Cuda’s Bar & Grill

Stopped in last week for their $ 5 burger special on Thursday, ordered a well-​done burger and it was so pink I think it was still moving. Looked done but it was cooked from frozen, yuck! The sweet potato fries where not hot at all and no salt on them, wtf? Needless to say, I will not be back!!! It’s amazing to see how downhill a place can go since August 2015… SAD!

We were up in Fox Lake area and found Cuda’s on Unilocal.It looked like an interesting menu so we stopped in. It was pretty empty as it was mid day on a very cold day.
Our waitress was great and very knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered a series of appetizers including the boneless wings, pork wings, and a French fry special that had pulled pork, bacon, vegetables and cheese. My son also ordered a meatball sandwich.
Everything was amazing. The boneless wings were nice and crispy. The ranch dressing is homemade and so good we bought some to take home. The pork wings were flash fried pork shanks that were crispy and awesome with the orange pepper marmalade. The meatball sandwich disappeared and his sweet potato fries were perfect.
I don’t give reviews too often — but had to write one for Cuda’s. They deserve their success.

Custom Mac and Cheese was the star of this meal. Burgers were good and ribs were good. Fun theme for the space. Casual atmosphere and attentive service. A nice stop for dinner. We’ll be coming back for that Mac and Cheese soon.

Highly recommend this place. I came with my daughter and she loved the Chicken Tenders. You can tell that the batter is made fresh. I had the pulled pork which was amazing. I recommend having the corn and broccoli with garlic butter. Great beer selection. Our server Samantha was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
If you like fresh food (awesome fries!!), great service, and a chill atmosphere, this is your place!

Wonderful food in a relaxed country bar. Definitely order the Mac and cheese with pulled pork appetizer. Enough for a meal for some folks. Amazing — jalapeño, pulled pork and fresh made Mac. Stuffed bison burger was also good. The other guest has the fish tacos. Both the sweet potato and other fries were fresh and good. Modest setting. Good food. Good service.

In the area for business and have been hearing great reviews for Cudas. Was looking forward to trying it myself! I actually ate lunch and dinner here (it’s just so good)… Lunch in the restaurant side and dinner in the bar area. Mac n cheese with smoked BBQ pork for lunch was amazing! The pork was smoked perfectly! I loved it so much I ordered the BBQ pork nachos and a pizza for dinner. The pizza crust was right on the mark as was the homemade pizza sauce and quality ingredients. Food was served prompt and steaming hot. There was a car cruise there the night I was there — customer service never missed a beat even during the full house during the car cruise. One of the owners greeted me and spoke with pride about the made from from scratch menu items — there is no doubt it is 5 star! The mopar décor is cool and adds to the fun environment! I look forward to getting back there! Highly recommend!

The place we were originally headed to was packed so we stopped here instead because it was on our way home. We sat on the dining side and the server was very prompt and polite. Seeing as it was lunch time, we shared an order of their mac ‘n cheese (a must-​have) and a trio of different BBQ sliders (delicious) which was delivered diner-​style. Very cool décor but their craft beer choices on draft were limited. After eating, we peeked into the bar side which is huge and had a small riser stage at the far end for live entertainment. I also noticed their bottle/​can inventory and wished I would have ordered from there instead. Overall, a very cool place with some great BBQ. We will definitely return to order the other fares on the menu and sit on the bar side.

We were the only one in the entire restaurant. The food was lukewarm and the pulled pork that they said was smoked has zero smoke taste and tasted like it came out of a crockpot that had just water in it. No seasoning… not even salt and pepper

Went here on advice from Unilocal and oh how u was amazed. Nice bar area with live music weekends but the food and cocktails we’re to die for.
First time I had the pulled pork platter which was great along with the fresh cut fries. The homemade bloody marry with bacon infused vodka was crazy good. Also the Mac and cheese topped with pulled pork was a small but incredibly tasty appetizer
Second time at Cuda’s I went from like to live with this place. The Chicken and waffles had me hooked for life. Light fluffy waffles with a soft crisp that tasted like they were pre-​dipped in butter and lightly breaded crispy but tender chicken pieces with yes a orange-​habanero marmalade!!!
I will be going back again very soon

I actually enjoy coming here, great friendly bartenders and staff. Delicious burgers, great bloody Mary’s. Tuesdays they have $ 2 craft beers, and cider. Good place to come with big groups of friends.

Pulled pork sandwich and beer can chicken sandwich were top notch. Friendly service, clean, good atmosphere. It was hard to choose from the menu as it all sounded so good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in last night for dinner after reading all the great reviews here in Unilocal!I agree that it is a place that I probably wouldn’t have stopped at otherwise but I am so glad that I did. The environment was alright. I really enjoyed all the TV’s that they had throughout the place. The mason jar beer glasses were great. The tap beer selection was small but had a good bottle selection. The food was wonderful. We had the pulled pork/​mac n cheese appetizer and it was delicious. We also had a burger and the chicken sandwich and both were delicious. Highly recommend going to check this place out and I will certainly be back!

Amazing staff very friendly, awesome food and music, great place to hang with friends we go almost every Friday for the deep dish pizza mmhmm

This place is so wonderful!!’ True some of the best barbecue I have ever had. They don’t really advertise their soups but if you try them you would be very delighted! Enjoyed their homemade smoked chicken and rice soup. Very filling also! I seem to order the nachos with pulled pork because it is so delicious! Freshly fried chips topped with bbq smoked pulled pork, romaine lettuce, olives, jalapeños, and tomatoes. There is so much I always end up taking it home! The service is also outstanding!

Don’t trust the exterior. Inside is classy bar with auto motif. Service was great, food was incredible. Had BBQ Mac and cheese and the PBR beer can chicken. Some of the best two dishes I have had in years. Prices reasonable and I can’t wait to come back!!!

I was reluctant at first to stop in there. That was my first big mistake. Everything that my wife and I had from the menu was excellent. They smoke their bacon and they smoke the ribs to perfection and they are phenomenal.

Fun place with a good menu.
I had a BBQ chicken sandwich which was very good and my wife loved her salad.
Chef/​owner Julio does the cooking and long time bartender Scotty, both from Gilmer Road House, is behind the bar.
Gonna go back and try the pizza next.
