This part to be good along time ago, but now it is looking a bit old and run down. The rubber floor looks like it needs to be resurfaced, the sun started to crack it. One of the bridges is simply cut out. Paint is peeling, and the equipment that used to have plastic coating is breaking down. This is too bad because this park used to be quite good a few years ago. You get an unsafe ghetto feeling there. You’re not finding your typical soccer moms here. One of the tables looked like it was taken over by some homeless people. We went here years ago and it was nice, I’d stay away until Antioch decides to clean it up and fix the broken parts.

Fun park! The kid liked it and so did I. Lots to play on and its layed out for the smaller tykes to the right and older kids to the left. They have a fireman’s pole, fireman’s ladder, a few silly slides, swings for young and old. Sand box that seemed fairly clean, no visual animal droppings. Its got a boat like structure, a coal mine like structure and even Humphrey the whale balancing structure. They have tied in the local area with the areas surroundings. Enjoyment for all. They have a huge area across the play structure for a game of soccer or maybe a game of baseball. Plenty of open space to sun around! There is a paved pathway along the outer rim circling the park. Plenty of shade. Benches and a few tables as well. They do have restrooms. As noted in a previous review, I saw no bums, homeless or whatevers in any area of the park. Hopefully it was just that one specific time that Brandon T was there that he noticed these people. I noticed different folks walking through the park. There was a group of guys sitting at a table having a conversation and eating lunch. Nothing out of the ordinary.
