Taqueria Guadalajara

We have been going here for several years. The food is ok, nothing to rave about but it’s close and priced well. I won’t be back again after my experience last night.
My wife placed a phone order, I went in to pick it up. The order was double the amount of what we needed. I told the girl working the front that something was off. She insisted that she repeated the order to my wife and asked me to call her. I told her I know what was ordered, I was standing there when my wife ordered it.
It was a obvious mis-​communication and the girl at the front was not willing to work with me at all. I walked out. I called later to get a number for the manager, she refused to give it to me and still insisted she had the order correct.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been treated this poorly at a eatery and I’m still kind of in shock today.
The good news is we tried another taqueria last night, the good was better and they had great service.

If i could give this place no stars i would. We just went there and they where closed. We walked in at 845 and the little 16 year old was like we closed. There was no sign stating that they were closed. And why would they be closed on a tuesday when they have dollar tacos in the middle of summer. Didnt even get to try the place. Wont go there again. This place sucks. Terrible service.

Canned beans? Warm beer? Cold food? no good. Ceviche served with black rotten avacodo. Filthy and un maintained. All tables dirty. booth seats broken. Salsa bar un attended. Forgot tortillas .very disappointed

The food had a wonderful «homemade touch.» By that, I mean it was like something I would have cooked for myself at 2 AM, after a night of heavy drinking. The gristly overdone carne asada was well complimented by the watery «guacamole» on my chimichanga. Next time, I’ll just stop at Jimboys.

I love getting burritos from here, always tasty and big. I just wish they were open a little later but besides that they are great.

The steak crispy tacos are the best thing you will ever put in your mouth!
On Tuesdays, it might be tempting to get the street tacos because they’re only $ 1…but trust me, get at least one crispy steak. You wont regret it, and you’ll come back for more!
They also have awesome super fresh and chunky pico and avocado sauce in their salsa bar.

I ordered 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos and the meat was way over cooked. Basically burned and crispy. It also took a very long time to be served.
No fresh brewed iced tea either.

Walking in, everything was clean and the staff was friendly, off to a good start. Ordered the carnitas plate, and it came out fairly quickly. A weird thing… My boss’s plate was actually a veggie platter plate… Including the bowl in the center for ranch? A weird way to serve way too much food… Anyways, getting through the food it was alright. The carnitas was over cooked and dry, the beans were not seasoned well, and the rice was dry as well.
A few hours of my stomach hurting afterwards, I finally couldn’t keep it down. DO NOT GO HERE, IF YOU REALLY WANT MEXICAN FOOD YOU CAN DO BETTER

I have been here twice now and the first time was delicious, second not so enjoyable. Found a bug in my Verde Salsa and lost my appetite… I know things happen so I’ll still give them another try but I’ll be on the lookout next time.

Hands down the best Crunchy tacos ive ever had. Quick and easy service, nice atmosphere.

Awesome Mexican food. Been here a million times and never a disappointment. Its quaint, small, free chips and salsa with your food order and delicious authentic Mexican food. They serve beer which is a plus, the staff is friendly, I literally have never had anything that wasn’t amazing. Definitely a go to place.

I usually never write reviews, but this place was a nightmare and I honestly couldn’t talk myself out of writing this. First, I walked in and noticed this place was pretty dirty and nobody was inside. I waited for awhile before a young woman came out to help me. She was rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for coming in (I figured she is having a bad day and brushed it off) I ordered my food, sat down at a table, and noticed it was filthy and the seats themselves were a sticky mess.(I tried to clean my table a little bit, but it wasn’t helping) (Mind you, this young woman was watching me intently) I moved to another booth, but much to my dismay, it was in the same shape. Finally I found one which was a little cleaner. The food was OK, but not very hot. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. On my way out, I did notice the broom used to clean the floors was being used on the booth seats (I guess it’s a plus she wanted to clean something)

It’s okay. Typical Mexican restaurant. Not fabulous. Not bad. Got mad that we went once and they were closed. But other than that, it’s okay.

I don’t normally write reviews on Unilocal,but I just have too regarding the experience I had there last week. I recently just moved in the area, and had my mom come over to check out the new house. We went in there for lunch and all the tables were dirty, full of dirty plates, barely anyone was in there. (no big deal) so I went to the register and asked if we can have a table cleaned for us to sit. A young women said «follow me» I followed and she took me to a bucket with a rag in it that smelt like bleach, she then handed me the rag and said «put it back when your done» then walked away! We had already ordered and payed for our food otherwise I would have walked out. I will never go there again and urge people looking for a good Mexican restaurant to go to the other one in the same plaza. Stay away from this place, they are RUDE and I felt very disrespected. Food was not all that good either. I hope this helps people looking for a Mexican restaurant to NOT GO THERE!

Great food, great prices, free chips and salsa. Crispy tacos amazing! Beats Carolina’s in the same plaza…
Breakfast burritos were also great and the portions are quite big when order a combo. Nice, easy, and simply Mexican food. The selection on the menu was great and my wife and I did not have a problem at all finding something to satisfy our hunger.
Overall great place. Very clean environment and I would recommend this to anyone.

I love some real good Mexican food as much as the next guy, but it started with the lady that took my order. Not friendly and not once did she make eye contact. Ok got my soda now where to sit. I was the only person there and out of the 12 tables 6 of them were dirty from previous customers.
The food wasn’t bad just wish it was warm.

FOOD is NOT bad but the chick that works the counter… a paper bag has more personality than her, HAHA. I feel like she wants me to leave as soon as I walk in the joint, HAHA. Geez.

I came in there today for lunch. Honestly, this is my top favorite now. I ordered the shrimp burrito… bite into heaven, Lol. It was amazing!!! Finally, a lot of shrimp, beans were fresh, rice was fresh, vegetables were fresh! It’s just mouthwatering. Trust me, you can’t go bad with this one:)

Worst food ever! The shredded beef had a weird gray look, defiantly not good beef. The chimichanga was also very disappointing the tortilla was just greasy with no crunch. Along with the food being so disgusting that not even my dog wanted to eat, the service was horrible. The girl at the counter seemed bothered when I asked what came in the burrito. Definitely will not go back, and don’t recommend anyone to go!

It’s delicious, but nothing to sing about. I really like their enchiladas, but everything else is kinda just ok, since I’ve been to a lot of places, it’s just kind of in the middle.
Nothing special, except for the enchiladas and super burrito, their sauces aren’t that bad either. Just come here to eat if you’re looking for good enchiladas, sauce and better than average burritos.
