I have been going to JRB’s almost 25 years and I have never been disappointed with food or service. Quality of food and service are always been the same. I highly recommend this place!

The people who gave this place negative reviews are on crack. First of all, the service is great. I never have an empty glass, and the plates are always overflowing. I’m a big guy, 6’4″, and big as a house, and I go home with serious leftovers after every meal. That’s saying something. I’ve never seen a bartender drink anything other than soda or coffee, or be rude in any way. I don’t know who that bartender was in the picture, but as you can see from the pic I uploaded, the bartender who is here six nights a week is cute as hell and super friendly. The owners bend over backwards to make sure your experience is a great one. It really is a place with a family atmosphere because it’s actually family owned and run for the past thirty years. The establishment is over 100 years old and has beautiful woodwork that you just don’t see anymore. It’s also one of the cleanest places I’ve ever dined at. They consistently get the best health inspections of any place in the valley.(Check out the other pic I uploaded for proof.). Whoever calls this place a dive bar has some sort of agenda. I would highly recommend it as a place to bring family or friends for a great meal, or for just a casual night at the bar. The prices are very reasonable for the extremely generous portions they give you. Ignore the haters. Come on down for a great meal and a drink or two. You won’t regret it.

old old old old old and a bit more of outdated on the side. They had deli-sh way way way over priced 12 dollar salad that are super sized in small size. Sad cause anyone that does this, is because they know there lacking in all other areas. The Bar Girl was very trashy She was drinking Shots and getting drunk while stuffing her face with once again an over sized grinder and Hugh plate of fries. It was so classless. I forced myself to stay for the rest of the night to only realize they had an old fashion restaurant connected to it and when I asked for the heat to be raised the LADY literally yelled out«oh does she want to pay for the heat» …(Appauling). HEYLADYWHYDONTYOULOWERYOURPRICESANDYOUMAYJUSTGETHALFOFANSONIAINTHERE. it was just pathetic service and gross out venue filled with old people.

If you’re looking for a super-fancy-looking restaurant with lovely ambiance, this isn’t the place for you. BUT… if you’re looking for amazingly HUGE salads, LOADED with STUFF, definitely try this place. Normally, I don’t like ordering salads as meals when I go out, because they’re overpriced and really not worth it. But these salads were insane, and pretty darn delicious. One of my colleagues ordered a chef salad and I can not begin to tell you how much meat and cheese was on that thing… it was crazy. I had the Greek salad and it had TONS of feta, olives, etc. Also, the service was very friendly and the wait for food was reasonable. I would definitely go back again.

Free pizza at happy hour. Friendly owner and customers, the bar tenders are typical text messaging types while you want a beer but usually friendly. I don’t know where the family comes from because it really is just a watering hole.
