The Patriot House Bed & Breakfast

Over the last twelve years I’ve stayed in a lot of Bed and Breakfasts all over the United States. The Patriot House is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the environment is very comfortable, and extremely clean. Amber the Inn Keeper is friendly and treats you like family, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!!!
Pros: Beautiful house and atmosphere, wonderful accommodations, comfortable, delicious food.
Cons: B&B sits on Main Street so traffic can sometimes be noisy, although this isn’t the Inns fault, this house has been here since the late 1800’s.
I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone.

Absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. I was in town for business and was only able to stay for one night, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Lovely décor, exceptionally clean, and incredible food. The hospitality is genuine and generous. I highly recommend it if you’re anywhere near Annville!

So I’ve never stayed at a B&B before but my god if this is what it’s like, I could so get used to it. The photos on their website are great to check out to see if you like the rooms. They’re even more spacious than they seem in the photos. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I guess it’s old Victorian décor. They have flat screens in all the rooms and just huge comfy beds. Awesome fluffy pillows and everything you could want in a place. It’s worth the extra couple of dollars to not have to stay at the travel dump. It’s within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants, Lebanon Valley College, a small movie theater and the Annville library (a favorite place for me as a kid). It’s a few miles outside of Hershey and I’d highly recommend it as a place to stay if you’re looking to come into the area for whatever reason.
Amber, the innkeeper was fabulous. She took great care of us and anticipated our needs. She set out umbrellas for us to use when the weather seemed rainy and answered all of our questions. Great conversation, lovely garden in the back with a koi pond.
The breakfast was solid. I took some pictures, check em out. There was also a baked grapefruit, something I never had but was really impressed with. And don’t sleep on the banana nut muffin. It looks like it’s out of a boxed recipe but that was easily one of the top 5 muffins I’ve had my whole life.
My wife loved the place so much that I can guarantee we’ll be back all the way from California. :)

The Patriot House is a true Gem, next time you go to Hershey Park, or are near Annville on business, skip the hotel and enjoy a true 5 star experience!

Stayed at this lovely bnb over Labor Day weekend. The Annville area was quite charming (nice, quiet suburban area with a great local theater, Allen Theater, and Lehigh Valley College nearby). Amenities and accommodations were nice, but more importantly, our innkeeper’s hospitality was top-​notch, including the cooking. Great conversation and no worries about anyone intruding in on your personal space. Very pleasant stay; highly recommended.
