Annville Natural Food Market

I am a big supporter of natural markets in general but I have to say this one did not impress me. I find the prices to be much higher compared to other shops in the area.

Hello organic, holistic and natural heaven!
Three weeks ago, I moved to the Annville area from Chicago, leaving behind two of my favorite places, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. After much hunting for organic, specialty food and cooking items in the local grocery stores, I felt fortunate to find everything I needed here in this amazing little health and well-​being shop.
I stopped by right before they were about to close on a Saturday and I met the super nice owner who let me grab a few items, also offering to special order anything I may need. Prior to this, there were a good amount of customers milling around, checking out anything from lip balm to supplements to coconut water.
One thing I had prepared myself for before entering the store was higher prices, but generally, I found most things to be competitive or even cheaper than what I’d be paying in Chicago! I was pleasantly surprised to find everything that I was looking for, and in some cases, a couple of different brands to choose from.
I left the store feeling like I’d struck gold. Where else can you find raw cashews around here?! This place is the best!!!

I absolutely love this store, a little slice of natural heaven in the middle of my tiny town. Small and charming, this store packs a lot of stuff into a little space. I buy my Burt’s Bees products here because they’re always less expensive than buying them anywhere else. The cooler in the front houses fresh organic produce and perishable delights (I’m obsessed with the vegan chicken salad and tabbouleh) and at Thanksgiving there are always tofurkeys to be found (for my visiting vegan guests!) Lots of vegan and vegetarian products and a small but ever-​changing supply of frozen Amy’s and tofurkey brand items as well. Nice little health and beauty aisle along with a great selection of vitamins. There’s a small boutique side where natural and organic clothing is sold too. The owner is so sweet and always willing to help you out or order something if she doesn’t have it in stock. Love this place!
