If you want fun fluffy stuff, fine but NOT the place to go to if you want QUALITY, CUSTOM work done OR to be treated like a customer. If you value your linens don’t risk it. The work was shoddy and when I expressed my dissatisfaction at the overlapping of lines and the gaps between where other lines didn’t meet I was screamed at(yes, you read that correctly), told that my priorities were screwed up since I cared about this instead of focusing on Christmas(it was 12⁄24). I tried to get her to focus on the issue at hand and after more of her rant she walked away and left the room, saying she couldn’t handle it anymore and she had some family issues. The worst part is– I waited 2 weeks before returning to retrieve my items and see if they had been fixed and they weren’t. She said with a smirk that she tried and couldn’t then added but really didn’t think that they were poorly done to begin with. When I mustered up the courage to tell her that since she ruined the fabric she needed to compensate me for it, to which she… wait for it… walked away and said she didn’t want to talk about it. I left my phone number and asked her to call when she was ready. That was 3 weeks ago today and she hasn’t called, no surprise there. This woman can’t really be running a business like this. My clue should have been when I was dropping the work off originally, another customer came in to pick up her paper napkins that had been monogrammed. She was shocked to see that the monogram was off center and when she brought it to the salesgirl’s attention she was told, «that’s just how the machine makes them» and that was her response. No acknowledgement that it looked wrong, no attempt at an apology. The other lady was stunned and left. THAT should have been my time to leave but I didn’t– shame on me. I won’t make that mistake again. I’m not a glutton for punishment. It’s really a shame since I like to «shop small» but I’ll never shop in there again. Pity– I like Maryland Avenue but don’t waste your time in here.

I went in here because I wanted to buy a Kiel James Patrick bracelet. Not only was the selection limited, but the pushy saleslady kept giving me $ 100 clothing items to try on(even after I said I was not interested). Ugh. I understand that she has to make sales, but don’t keep giving me stuff! The clothes are cute enough, but I want to buy what I want, not what the salesgirl wants.

Disgustingly adorable stuff! They have so many cute bags and purses that can be customized it’s hard not to stop in here and take a look. They are a bit pricey, but all of their stuff appears to be of high quality and customizable. If I didn’t own so many purses and bags, I’d consider getting some of their new basket-like purses(see photo). 15% off for Unilocalers?! SWEET! I highly recommend you get the Unilocal app for this store! Kudos for using Social Media to advertise sales!
