I love Solace Salon and Day Spa! Harvey has done my last 4 colors and the feel and shape of my hair has improved so much. He listens to what you want to achieve with you service. One of the greatest salon owners you’ll meet. His staff is so friendly everyone I see has a smile on their face and it’s genuine! Watching them work and the completed looks from colors to hilites and cuts, Harvey has a very talented group of stylists not to mention the facials, mani/​pedi and massages… I could spend all day writing how much I love Harvey, his work, his crew and the salon in general. Oh and let’s not forget Jaime! That woman is amazing with her hands at the shampoo bowl! Jaime starts her massage and I leave my stress from the day at the bowl. And so sweet!!! I come to Solace for Vicki Martin, an aesthetician who is as good as they come. She is highly skilled at all aspects of her profession. She’s a good listener and keeps really complete and accurate records of all services I receive from her. Vicki makes an hour-​long facial that special treat I always look forward to. She knows her products and quickly makes her assessments and recommends exactly what my skin needs on any given visit.
My 2016 New Year’s Resolution: beautiful skin, beginning with Vicki Martin at the beginning of each month without fail through the coming year!

I started going to Solace over a year ago when I followed my beloved stylist, Nichole once she began working there. The salon is clean, organized, professional and friendly. Great products, wifi, coffee, lovely infused water and an endless supply of hard candy. If you are lucky enough to have Jamie wash your hair, then you will understand when I tell you how amazing she is. Nichole is an artist when it comes to color and I am complemented on my hair all the time. She was awesome at correcting my color when I used to mess it up with box dyes in my younger and more clueless years. She is professional, timely, creative and easy to talk to. Her cuts and blow outs are always on point and she never makes you feel rushed!

I don’t usually write reviews on Unilocal but had to leave one for Mary B. bc I haven’t had a good experience with hair stylists until her. I had really long hair and wanted the popular beach wavy short bob, and Mary absolutely did exactly what I wanted. I have been to other salons like kindle and boom and Hugo (rockville/​wheaton area where I reside) and for some reason I never came out of those salons thrilled. Mary was awesome she asked if I wanted to donate my hair which she read my mind and she just knew the look I was going for. Jaime the apprentice was super sweet too, I came into the salon and was automatically greeted (by the owner too)! Overall great experience would definitely go back to Mary again.

For all aesthetic services Vicki is the best. As a fellow skin care specialist I am very particular when it comes to having my eye brows waxed, make up done etc. Vicki is one if the few I trust! I like to keep my brows thick and she always does a meticulous job and never over tweezes or waxes. Highly recommend for the best eye brow wax you will ever get. I will be flying in from California in a couple weeks and am already looking forward to my next brow wax, I get compliments often on how nice and thick my brows are and I have Vicki to thank!

Another 5 stars for Cate, who is an amazing aesthetician, but an fyi that the salon has merged with yet another salon, and Cate was one of the casualties of the merger.
As such, have to knock at least one star from my original salon review. Not sure where Cate will be working next, but she is definitely an aesthetician worth following…

Cate Campbell, esthetician at Solace, is wonderful! She is completely professional and plays nice soothing music while you have your facial. Cate has also really helped to clear up my skin! She knows her product lines and exactly what is best for your skin-​type. I highly recommend her facial services.

I went to see Cate Campbell at Solace Salon in Annapolis on one of my days off. I didn’t really have any particular salon I have been loyal to and really was in need of a facial. I had recently heard of her through a mutual friend. I was happy she was able to fit me in. Cate helped me choose the best type of facial for my skin type, which is very dry and dull. She took time to explain to me why my skin was in the state it was in and recommended some awesome products. I don’t put a lot of faith in products really working, but I was amazed at the results I saw immediately. After my facial my skin felt so young and vibrant and the dullness was gone. I have seen some very noticeable results from the products and have received many compliments since I started using them. Needless to say I go back to Cate on a very routine basis and am very pleased with my skin. I feel so much more confident when people tell me how good I look. I highly recommend anyone go see Cate at Solace and see for yourself. I believe you will really be totally happy with the results.

After several bad salon visit, I’m finally happy. I walked out feeling beautiful and happy thanks to Tierra ! She sat down and spoke to me before she touched my hair. Once she was done I felt like a new women. Thank you !

I love Solace. I’ve been going there for a few years now. I see Maxine for waxing and she is amazing. I have followed her from a few different salons now. She genuinely cares about her clients and their skin. She gives great facials too. She is the best and I highly recommend that people try her out. I’ve never had my hair done there, but that the stylists are good as well.

I go to Mary for my hair. She does an awesome job and always super friendly as well as everyone else in the salon. The prices for me are a little prciey but you definitely get what you paid for.

I’ve gotten facials from here from Maxine. I’ve liked everything for the most part. They offer a good bit and their prices are not too bad. The facility is nice as well.
