Chicken was extremely dry, sauces wear not tasty. If you like Peruvian chicken, this place is not worth your time. Hate to leave feed back this bad but to wait 10 mins for this food was just not worth it.

Great Value and great tasting chicken. I had to wait 10 minutes but it was worth it. ½ charbroiled Peruvian chicken with two sides for $ 10. Very tender and tasty chicken. The yellow sauce tastes like French mustard mixed with mayonnaise and it pretty good. The green sauce is a hot jalapeño green sauce that is pretty good too. Located in the shopping center down from Goldmax they don’t have the name Pollo Ricky on a sign but they do have a Pollo Ricky poster. This place seems to be a combination of two businesses and includes Pupuseria el Portalito.

I love Peruvian chicken but this recipe isn’t as juicy or as large as other places in the general area. The sides are mostly cheap starches — no veggies except a shredded lettuce salad. Our waitress was really nice but completely new to food service and spoke 0 English.

My husband loves peruvian style chicken so we get Rickys a lot! I love the flavor of the chicken and the speed at which you can get it! Usually a great place to grab dinner to take home for an easy night off from cooking. The sides are okay and many are tasty. Their prices are very reasonable and they are very friendly. I highly recommend.

This place is great value. It takes a little while to get your food, but definitely worth the wait. I usually get the whole chicken plate that comes with a couple of sides, which is enough for at least 3 meals. The green and white sauces are addictive, make sure you bring plenty home. For sides, I’ve had the plantains, yucca, rice and beans, and black beans. All are very good, I think I liked the beans and yucca best.

When you have eaten chicken from the likes of Edys and Super Chicken it’s hard to give other locations a try because the bar has been set very high almost to an unattainable height. Needless to say Rickys holds its own, the chicken was very tasty and unusually moist, I’ll admit I had my doubts opening up the carton, my first impression was crap, this looks dry as hell. The plantains were sweet and firm(rare) typically they’re one or the other, my only gripe from my order were the fries… Nothing special, just frozen fries. Anywho the green sauce was salty and spicy very delicious the yellow sauce however wasn’t nothing spectacular which is weird because the yellow sauce is the star at most Peruvian joints. I will definitely be coming back, the food was hot and tasty, that’s good enough for me. P.S. Don’t let the appearance outside throw you off the place is legit, the shopping center might be a little sketchy after dark… Just saying.

One star because they microwave the sides. The mashed potatoes were ok, chicken was juicy, not bad but I’ve have considerably better. They also lose a star because they didn’t have plantains.

Friendly service. Excellent charbroiled chicken, hot, fresh, and well seasoned. Reasonable price for quality food and large portions. I usually get the ¼ or ½ white meat chicken with a side of fried plantains and mashed potatoes. I have also tried the fried yucca which is okay, but the french fries are great. Mashed potatoes tasted fresh and homemade. My wife doesn’t eat chicken, but she loves their mashed potatoes and rice with beans.

Recently relocated to the Annapolis area I looked up restaurants in Unilocal.Pollo Ricky’s had good reviews so I decided to grab some takeout. I got the half chicken, side if green beans, and salad. It was some if the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was seasoned well throughout and tender. The homemade dressing for the salad was not overpowering and the jalapeño hot sauce for the chicken was the perfect compliment. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars were the green beans were very cold. The flavor on the beans were great just cold. I’ll be back, probably tomorrow!

I stumbled onto this place and I am very glad that I did. The chicken was excellent. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned, the skin was crispy and it was delicious. We had two side dishes of cole slaw and French fries. The slaw was perfect and the fries were very crispy and tasted better than they looked because I thought they were going to be old and limp. The restaurant itself is a little shabby, but very clean. The unisex bathroom was also very clean. The staff couldn’t have been more courteous. They have a full range of Peruvian dishes on their menu. All in all, a great experience and I will be back to try the Lomo Saltado and the Tres Leches cake. Prices can’t be beat!

When I was originally introduced to Pollo Ricky’s it was joking referred to as the«crack house of chicken.» And after a few, or well a lot of visits since I can gladly approve the amazing inexpensive eatery known as Pollo Rickys. Normally get a ¼ white, with plantains and yucca — very good. I had tried their fried rice once it was decent nothing too special. The sauces are very good and pair well to each element of the dish. Plus there is Inca Cola! This joint gets five stars simply because for the cost, the fact it’s local, and just overall friendly service makes a trip here worth it EVERYTIME!

Pollo Ricky is awesome. I was so excited to see a Peruvian chicken place in Annapolis I just had to stop. Got a ½ chicken, plantains and the house salad and it did not disappoint! Mejor pollo en todo Annapolis!

The chicken was excellently seasoned and the side choices are matched well. Fantastic change to what can be a mundane culinary scene of inexpensive eats in Nap Town.

Chicken just okay. Sides absolutely amazing. Mashed potatoes with red skin was so sweet, creamy, and otherwordly. Yucca was crispy and not dried out like other places. Jalapeño sauce and mayo/mustard were spot on yummy. Sardi’s level good in humble white-bread Annapolis
