I called Michael Designs from out of town, based only on their Unilocal reviews and photos, to order flowers for my Sweetheart who was going to be visiting Annapolis. The person i talked with was incredibly patient with me on the phone and had a good sense of humor. When i saw the photo of what was delivered i was really moved by how beautiful it was. No florist has ever understood what i wanted better – even what i didn’t know how to express. I loved the arrangement. And i’m really picky! And my Sweetheart was gushing. It was a wonderful experience.

The flowers for my daughter’s wedding were spectacular. The centerpieces beautiful. All the guests commented on the beauty and design of the flowers. They were easy, wonderful, flexible and at times quite funny which helped ease the tension that weddings bring. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area. Bravo

I received a gorgeous flower arrangement at work on my birthday from Michael Designs Florist. My fiancé called and asked if there was any way a same day delivery could be made and despite being very busy and it being wedding season they obliged him.
The gentleman who delivered the flowers (perhaps Michael) instructed me on how to care for the flowers and was very friendly.
Next time I am in need of flowers I will think to this small business. They came in a lovely re-​usable glass container and capture the spring floral color palette perfectly.
It was such a nice surprise at work and shows what great customer service they execute be the job big or small.

I can’t say enough about the quality and exceptional customer service provided by Michael Designs. We recently had a large wedding, and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. The centerpieces were of different designs, creating depth and a stunning visual appearance. The bouquets for the Bride and Attendants were striking in color, as fresh as possible, and a multitude of truly beautiful flowers.
It is now 10 days after the wedding, and we are still enjoying many of the flowers.
We searched many options for flowers, and we are thrilled to have used Michael Designs — I would recommend them without question.

I called Michael Designs the morning of my mother’s birthday. The man on the phone was extremely helpful. I’m pretty clueless when it comes to flowers but he walked me through options & had quite a few suggestions. i relied mostly on his expertise.
I got a call from my mother who was ecstatic about the arrangement. My father who is an avid gardner knows a bit about this stuff and was very impressed with the selection & quality of the flowers. The delivery person also gave my mother helpful instructions for their care.
All in all a great experience.

Found these guys on Unilocal and though I had seen their location on MD Ave, it’s no longer there. Now they operate our of their home. So easy to work with the designs were from my mind to their vases. It was just wast we wanted. They delivered and came back to pick up the vases a week later. Even though I chose some delicate flowers, they lasted a full week, so I know they were fresh cut! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Jim and his team did a fantastic job for our wedding and reception at London Town and Gardens. We met with him about 6 weeks before and he pulled a bunch of flowers from his cooler to show us his vision for our wedding based on the photos and ideas I had emailed him. He was very easy to work with and did a beautiful job. Everything was in place at the right time and was exactly as we discussed. He even augmented some of the jars I provided to make the cluster of flowers at the center of every table even more robust. I heard so many compliments about the flowers. They looked and smelled awesome. The centerpieces were still alive 10 days later so I know he used fresh high quality flowers. I am excited to recommend Michael Designs Florist. They will not disappoint you.

all of my family lives out of state and i am a big time believer in the sentiment of sending flowers. to date i’ve had not so great luck with choosing out of state florists, so usually i end up keeping it simple in fear that something horrific and suitable for a funeral will end up on the doorstep of my loved ones. this morning my little sister had an emergency surgery, i called micheal designs and within a few hours delivered to her room was an awesome architectutral arrangement of green and white orchids donned with a few christmas balls for kitsch value. this was actually something unique and different, and my only requests were no carnations, no baby’s breath, no pink and no «FTD basket of cheer» crap. he really came through, even at 3000 miles away with very little instruction. all of this for only $ 65.00 plus delivery!
where i live that’ll only get you a dozen crappy roses if you’re lucky.
i really hope no more of my family members end up in the hospital, but i’ll be sure to use him for all future mother’s days, birthdays, new babies and engagements!
