i like this place a lot, staff is always helpful, and i love their accessories.

I used to really love stopping by to pick up some fresh new accessories to match certain outfits or just brighten my day, but the last two times I’ve shopped here, the lack of friendliness has overwhelmed me. When you’re about to drop $ 80+ on a couple of necklaces or earrings, and the associate behind the register has a sour puss expression on her face(and you heard her being rude to a customer just a few minutes prior), you can’t help but think you might just take your business elsewhere.

Cute items but beware. If you need to return an item. Their return policy is terrible. Imagine purchasing an item in less than 24 hours and they will only exchange, or give store credit. There is too much competition for that kind of return policy.

3.5 stars! If you like baubles and accessories and all things girly-chic… this is the place for you. This boutique is like Urban Outfitters’ more cultured, refined and well-traveled older sister. It’s full of statement necklaces, chunky bracelets, stackable rings, scarves in lots of fun, abstract prints plus many other unique items. There are also perfumes, lip balms and all kinds of other purse must-haves. Speaking of purses, their selection is ok; mostly solid colored bags(I’m more of a texture and print kinda girl). I think they have wallets, make up bags and coin purses as well. The price of this stuff is moderate; about what you’d pay at a boutique at the mall. But unlike the mall, the pieces you find here you’re far less likely to catch someone else wearing as you sashay into your share of this season’s holiday parties. There’s a bit of edginess to this place too, to keep it from being excessively girly. Check out the stationery section in the back for some of THE most hilarious tongue-in-cheek greeting cards you will ever see! No mushy Hallmark sentiments here. These cards are sure to get a laugh, and maybe a dropped jaw or two. If you’re looking for one-of-a-kind gifts, cards and accessories this place is definitely worth a visit.

Bottom Line: Girl’s just wanna have fuu-uunn and Lou Lou is a great place to do it without spending a fortune. I walked into Lou Lou not knowing what to expect. Immediately my eyes got wide and I think the expression on my face rivaled that of a child arriving at Disney World! There is so much fun girly stuff in here! I’d liken it to Francessca’s but a little classier with better quality overall. Ohh, it also feels a tad Anthropologie-ish to me too. Here is the kind of stuff you can expect to find at this boutique: — Fashion jewelry, more fashion jewelry and finally, more fashion jewelry — Cute cards and stationary — Accessories like stuff for your hair, gloves and scarves — Home stuff like pillows, mugs and décor — Seasonal goodies like ornaments and gloves The only downside to my visit is that it was on Small Business Saturday and this place was packed! With so many ladies in the store adorning puffy winter coats and large handbags(myself included) it was a bit hard to maneuver to really check out all of the goodies. Next time, I hope this store is vacant so I can go crazy and accessorize myself with the enthusiasm of Cyndi Lauper! Finally, if you want to visit Lou Lou but don’t want to fight the downtown crowds, you may find the parking at the Annapolis Towne Centre location less of a pain.(I stress the word«may» since that place can be a zoo too!) In fact, there are over 20 locations of this East Coast boutique.

I love this store! So much to choose from but the employees are extremely rude. I had about $ 70 worth of items in my hand and went to the resister. I had asked the girl behind the resister a curious question about one of their products and she answered me in a snarky way. I was so shocked and taken back by the way she was talking to me that I left and only purchased the item I really needed. They lost about $ 60 that day because of the way their employee talked to me. There is no need for me to go back there again. My business will be elsewhere.

Cute boutique but was completely taken back by the extremely rude cashier. I was so shocked by her tone and mannerisms, that I rushed out of the store. Downtown Annapolis is full of trendy stores so no need to go back.

First time here… Tons of cute accessories and knick knacks(hair clips, cards, etc). Good place to get a gift for a friend and a little something for yourself. It’s a bit exhausting to look at everything. Would def go there for cheap cute accessories but wouldn’t buy anything more than $ 20 due to the poor quality.

Lots of cute stuff but customer service is a 0⁄10. I couldn’t get any of the employees to help me so instead of making purchases I just left.

Wow! Lots of and lots of stuff here but for the most part, the quality seemed a little cheap for the price. Nonetheless, I will definitely be back in for a browse whenever I’m in the area.

Lou Louuuuuuuuuuu… Oh man! You are sensory overload in the very best of ways: every girls’ dream, young and old. From bracelets to necklaces to rings to earrings to purses and scarves, Lou Lou has got you covered with girly girl accessories for any and all occasions. Price points very from the very low($ 10) to the pricier(several hundreds of dollars), so you can get a gift for everyone in your life, whether an aunt or sibling or even a co-worker you are fond of. You truly can’t go wrong. The small, family-owned chain only has a handful of locations in MD, DC, and VA, so if you are lucky enough to live in the area, you better me hitting them up on the regular. It so outshines any other accessory store national chain and it’s local. What beats that?

So cute and fun! I needed a new handbag that would work well whether I was in school or not and I found it here! They have tons of jewelry! All colored coated and sparkly, you can’t help but watch it shimmer. Their handbag selection is wonderful as well and it was very VERY hard to choose. I got a gorgeous brown leather messenger bag that was not too small and not too big, just right for me! The vary from different price ranges from very affordable to expensive. They have other locations in MD and VA, check them out and enjoy!

Great boutique. I bought myself a cute long sleeve striped T(a bit expensive but I am a sucker for striped French Ts), and gifts for a friend. They have so much jewelry, cards, purses, etc.

I know where I’m going from now on when I need a cute gift for a girlfriend or(female) family member. Lou Lou is SUCH a CUTE store, a girl’s paradise, filled to the brim with earings, bracelets, necklaces, hats, scarves, stationary, and purses gallore. Lou Lou is kind of like an upscale Claires — you know its true! Jewelry is arranged by color schemes(turquiose! gold! ruby!) on tables scattered throughout the store and is super reasonably priced(around $ 10?! yes please, I’ll take a matching set). Excellent find in Annapolis! And, thanks to Unilocal,I just discovered that they have stores in DC… score!

Yikes! Sensory overload! When you first walk in this store, you can easily be overwhelmed by the colors and the bling in this store. You need to have an accessory mission when you come in. You need to know what(earings, necklace, scarf, bracelet etc) and what color you want so that you don’t wast 4 hours wandering around this store. There are so many pieces to look at you could easily get sucked in here. Dudes, there are a few bars down the street, that’s probably your best bet while your favorite chica shops here. You will mostly likely be able to get at least 2 beers down before she’s ready to leave. The store is organized by color and metal color. So it makes it easy to find what you need. Not only do they have jewelry, but they have purses, scarves, shoes and more scarves and stationary. They are all very chic and very cute. This isn’t high end stuff, but still cute. I’d say that it is much more grown up looking than Claire’s but not high quality or fine jewelry. It’s more like costume jewelry. Much like jewelry you’d find in Premier Jewelry catalog. The prices are not bad at all. They range from $ 5-$ 40. Not too bad. If you absolutely can not find a piece to match your outfit, you can probably find it here. All in all this is a great store. There’s nothing like it on Main Street. I think this is a great location for it. While I will miss the old store that used to be here(Paradigm) I very much welcome this cute accessory store here in DTA.
