I am so shocked to see such awful reviews… I had an appointment today at this location and could not have asked for better service, better doctor or a better selection of glasses. Everyone I came in contact with was wonderful and helpful. They work hard and fast, I will return in the future.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Terrible customer service. Hours of waiting. Glasses that are completely messed up. We are returning for a complete refund and won’t be back. Too many other options to deal with such poor quality.

Our sales associate was literally the worst. There was no one else in the store and she was sitting in the back talking to someone for 10 minutes before seeing is. She was incredibly slow and did not know how to do her job. We were there for an extra hour because she could not figure out how to use her computer and was incapable of telling us which frames would work with my prescription.

I had an eye exam and ordered daily wear contacts from the Lens Crafters in Annapolis MD. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the doctors office is sublet from Lens Crafters and therefore not backed by Lens Crafters. I order the lens and have yet to receive them. It has been over one week. I was originally told it would only take a few days. I called the office and they were not mailed until 8 days after they were ordered. I explained that I was low when I ordered but they just don’t care. TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. THEYDIDN’T CONTACTME. I CONTACTEDTHEM. I WOULDNEVEREVERUSETHISCOMPANYAGAIN. WHEN I CONTACTEDCUSTOMERSERVICETHEYPERSONSIMPLYCHOSETOTALKOVERME. If I were you I would run from this location. They have no regard for your eye health.

Great Customer service. They treat their customers like they are part of the family.

My experience was just okay. The doctors office was quick and got my eye exam done with no issue. The glasses buying experience was blah. There was a helpful gentleman but all of the frames were the same. Nothing jumped out at me. Of course I liked the 300.00 frames. I left without purchasing anything because I wanted to look around for something else. If I don’t find what I want elsewhere, I will return for the blue Dolce frames.

I needed an eye exam and contacts before the end of the year and scheduled an appointment. I was treated like cattle — shoved here and there. Placed in waiting room after waiting room. The Dr. was seeing about 6 patients at once and going from room to room — leaving me to fit my own contacts, or putting me in a waiting room while he attended to someone else. It was not a personal or pleasant experience. The front desk was not attentive, picking up the phone in the middle of a sentence with me. All they cared about was how much I was spending. I got the minimum amount allowed by my insuirance and had them mail the contacts to me as I refused to walk into their store ever again. AWFULAWFUL customer service.

I would not even bother with this place. I first came in on May 14 to get a pair of glasses and lenses. Was told the sales pitch of 40 off on both. Thought this was great. I get my glasses and merrily go home. A week later I notice a scratch on the lens. I go back and they replace it for free. I’m thinking, «Oh this is just a freak accident, I should be good to go from now on.» 6 weeks later another lens scratch, still under warranty, so I go in and the replace the lenses in an hour. I’m given back my glasses and the women who was making sure on fitting rushed through the entire processes and bent my ear pieces the wrong way. And when she went to fix the nosepiece with a screwdriver she scratched the lens. So I had to return the next day and get new lenses again. So I went to another eye glasses chain. Have had a pair for 2 weeks now and no scratches. Returned my Lenscrafters pair. On top of all the customer service could only get me an extended warranty for 3 extra months. If you are the ones at fault you should be giving the customer their money back and attempting to let them keep the product or they wont be shopping there again. To sum it up, 4 times in 2 months? Yeah if you want to keep on getting your lenses fixed or buy really cheap quality ones I’d say shop here. But if you need high quality, scratch free I suggest going elsewhere.

Maybe the management came to grips with their customer service complaints after John S gave them feedback. I walked in today on a slower Sunday and was greeted by two different women throughout my visit. I already had my prescription and while I didn’t have time to decide on a frame of choice, they have any awesome selection of stylish brand-name frames. I’ve been searching for a little bit now and most places have the plain wire or traditional plastic frames but nothing that I was looking for. I think there are several options I could choose from and this is the best Lenscrafters that I have visited(as far as selection goes). They’re all pretty pricey even with the 50% off lenses deal they have going on. I don’t know why all of the frames that I like are expensive. Plus I like to add the anti-glare/anti-reflective option so my lenses look nice and clear. I guess I have to pay a price for fashion. It’s a bonus that they can get your glasses done in an hour. Park in the red garage by JC Penney. Once you walk in the mall entrance, turn right and Lenscrafters will be on your left.

Horrific service, unreasonably expensive, crowded, and generally an unpleasant experience. I had scratched my lenses and needed them replaced. Three sales people came over and then left to help others once they discovered I wasn’t interested in the whole frame and all sales package. My frames were six months old and in fine shape — plus I like them! One saleswoman told me to sit down by one of the computers to wait and then walked right over to help someone who had just walked in but was browsing through a frame collection. Absolutely unbelievable. When I finally did manage to get someone to help me, she told me new lenses started at $ 250 and went up from there. When I said that seemed pretty expensive, she told me that most people have insurance and didn’t have to pay for it so it was generally fine. What the !@*#!? is that? I said no thanks and left. I ended up getting the lenses made on the spot for less than half the price(ready in a half hour) at another optical place in the same mall. Save yourself the trouble and skip Lenscrafters in the first place.
