Lam’s Nails

I used to go when I was young when the original owners were still there and they always did a wonderful job. I hadn’t been since I was about 12 (9+ years ago) and went to get a full set of acrylic nails, even allowing the woman to talk me into gel, and left with the WORST manicure of my life. She rushed, cut my cuticles so harshly I was bleeding, and just slopped on the acrylic, never shaping it or even smoothing it. Then she painted them with regular paint and just put a gel top coat on. After I dried my nails there were bubbles all over! I left and TEN MINUTES LATER one nail was already falling off. I wanted to cry the whole time, but I’m not a confrontational person so I paid and left. I will NEVER go back and recommend NO ONE EVER go there.

Worse manicure ever. Not enough staff. 3 of us came as walk-​ins at 10:45 am on a Friday. Rushed through my manicure and did not allow for proper drying time between coats. Used same tools for the 3 of us. One manicure missed entire step of filing and buffing. Could do a better job at home. Would not recommend. Kelly R is spot on. I was afraid to question the price because the nail tech definitely had a «tude». Will never go back.

Awful awful awful! I went in for shellac, already had it on and wanted a new color. The place was dusty and disorganized. This isn’t my normal place but I was in a time crunch. Only 2 people working and there were 2 customers getting services but they told me to have a seat and I began soaking my nails. 20 minutes later I am acknowledged again and they began painting, the uv light kept turning off and the woman insisted if I moved my hand it would come back, well it didn’t, fortunately I could just click it back on while she was helping someone else. After an hour– only 1 nail was actually well done, I had to leave so could not wait for them to fix and quite frankly I didn’t want them doing it again. I had shellac in my skin, so if I was to pick that all the polish could just peel right off the nail, my nails weren’t even. Nothing relaxing about the day, not a good experience. I went back the next day to complain that I wanted my money back and showed them the nails, they accused me of messing it up– I was careful not to peel off polish so they were accusing me of painting the nail differently I guess? They refused to do anything at first, after 5 minutes of some very broken English she said she would do 1 nail for me even though I was showing her 9 nails with problems. They never gave me money back but I cancelled the charge.
