Easy to find, lots to choose from. Prices are decent, the super sale section that is in the lower part of the store has some amazing deals! We went looking for a living room recliner/chair and didn’t fall in love with anything, but there are some nifty pieces.

Bottom Line: Stop in frequently to increase your chances of finding a buried treasure. Echoes & Accents is a large second-hand/consignment store for home furnishings and décor. I think the name is really cute and I love the idea of finding some less-than-full-price items to furnish and decorate my home. Since this is a consignment shop with changing inventory you should be prepared to come here regularly to see what is new. Sometimes this place is packed so your treasure might really be buried and it might take some patience to scoot your way through the«aisles.» I definitely wouldn’t bring kids in here or tote a big purse! The items here range from 1940s antiques to 1980s awfulness with some stuff from this decade sprinkled in. The nicer pieces seem to go fast as they always have a «Sold» sign on them by the time I see them! I haven’t seen any real old antiques(e.g. 1800s here) but there seems to be plenty of old-ish veneer just dying for a paint job. Of course if I was old-ish I would probably need a refacing myself. Also, I have come across some nice upholstery pieces here that have recently been given a new life. Because they’re in like-new condition they’re not very discounted. In general, I don’t think there are any bottom basement bargains here but there certainly are some opportunities for pieces that need some TLC.

I kind of agree with Dawn’s review. There was a lot of stuff crammed in there, but I really didn’t find anything that I wanted. Maybe I had high expectations from the reviews in Unilocal and the stickers on the doors showing that they got top awards for their shop. Seems to be messy/sloppy in there, crammed and at the end of the day, nothing that I could use. Service was friendly and professional. They explained to me how the prices go down over time. Not too many times I’ve gone in a furniture store wanting nothing by the time I left.

Update: I’ve now purchased a few things — mostly art pieces — that were reasonably priced. Some had been marked down as per their discount by aging process. I still find the larger case goods and upholstered pieces too pricey for used furniture most of the time. It’s possible to buy quality new items in the same price range. But overall, the selection of home décor seems to have improved price wise, so I’m upgrading this store from two stars to three. — — — – Original Review: I keep being disappointed by Echoes and Accents, and I’ve probably disappointed them by continually popping in but never buying anything. It is a fabulous space to walk around in, with an eye catching selection and a wonderful layout — it’s like walking around a space put together by an interior designer. But the prices are off. Just today I saw four lamps, the identical style and color of which are in Homegoods right now for half the cost, and those would be new and not used. Today, they also had a leather headboard and footboard from Pottery Barn, priced at $ 1100. Pottery Barn has a similar leather bed for $ 1800 right now. Yes, $ 700 is a big difference and PB will charge a delivery fee, but with the questionable quality of PB’s furniture(just Google it), that’s not enough of a discount. In general, anything I’m attracted to in EA I immediately recognize from somewhere else and just go there to buy it for less, brand new. I’m going to keep trying though because it’s a pleasure to walk through — and one day I’ll hit upon the right piece at the right price.

One of my favorite sources of furniture! I think almost everything in my house came from this place! So when you walk in be prepared to make several rounds in the show room. It is jam packed with furniture, lighting, shelves, entertainment centers, dining room furniture, and mirrors and anything else you can furnish your home with. Plan to spend at least an hour there! They really are an upscale consignment shop. Everything in there is of the highest quality. You will not see anything from IKEA in there. There are a lot of solid wood furniture and antique pieces. In addition to furniture, they have started to carry jewelry from local artists as well. The best part of this place, is that there are about 3 prices on the tags of the items in there. If the item is still there after a couple of weeks, the price is reduced, and even more so if it is there any longer. While you can wait and see if the price will fall, you might miss out on it. So how bad do you want this piece? I’ve had so many pieces swiped from me because I thought it might still be there after 2 weeks :( I probably drop by this place a couple of times a year just to see what they have. I’d probably buy more if I had more room in my house!

Great store! Tons of inventory and they seem to always be changing. I’ve been in once now, and will have to keep coming back. The staff seem really helpful and friendly.
