Waste of my time. I walked in to find the store staff eating a bunch of nuts at the counter and they never asked me if I was looking for anything. Rude. The only good label they have in the store is Ted Baker. Aside from that the rest of the clothing and jewelry is very cheap.

I came to look around. I became a fan of theirs on Facebook but never got to go to the boutique. The clothing was meticulously colored coordinated. Everything was displayed neat and beautifully. A few things were out of my price range, but I managed to come away with a very cute blouse. They were very helpful, got me a dressing room and they have these awesome mask to put on your face so that you do not get make up on the clothing. I hope to get the shop to be a vendor at a Spouses Club luncheon. The location is not bad either.

What a terrible shopping experience! After having no luck at the mall or in downtown, I went looking for a summer dress at Diva. I found a cute dress on their«last one» rack, quickly tried it on, and purchased it. Later when I got home, I saw a weird water spot on the chest of the dress in the bright lights of my bathroom! I called diva and told them about it and the girl assured me that«it wouldn’t be a problem» because I hadn’t even worn it yet and it still had tags! The next day, I stopped by to return it and the RUDE manager informed me that it was«against their policy to take back damaged goods,» EVENTHOUGHTHEYSOLDITTOMETHATWAY! They obviously do not inform their other employees of this supposed«strict policy.» Then to top it off, the owner was supposed to call me and never did. I shop at boutiques all the time and this was so incredibly disappointing. I advise anyone to shop anywhere but here unless you want to spend $ 70 on damaged dresses that they won’t take back.

****Updated**** I returned here after my wife came home crying from her experience at Diva. I did attempt to return the dress(not damaged) for my wife. The reason they wouldn’t let her return it was because it was over $ 200. I think it is important to note this on Unilocal.Do not buy anything over $ 200 because you can’t return it. In a world where Zappos, Nordstom & other retailers allow returns up to 365 days later, I would think Diva would impose a better policy. My wife even told the saleperson that she was buying two dresses and was going to take them home to see which one she liked better. This would’ve been a good time for the salesperson to note the return policy. I was pretty angry when I went in to return the dress. I simply left it on the counter. It isn’t about the $ 200, it is about customer service and the owner should know better. I wouldn’t be surprised if this store closed down soon just like the downtown location.

Adorable boutique! They crack me up with the random magazine postings all over the store. Great idea for those of you want want to be «In» for the season. Their prices are OK. I like their stuff, but not enough to really buy anything for their prices. They do have a sales rack that I occasionally browse but nothing has caught my attention. This is partly because every time I try something on, it fits in some places and not so much in others. So maybe this is a store for perfectly proportioned girls? They do have some really cute jewelry that I like to browse. They have funky trendy stuff as well as classic pearls and neutral stuff. Apparently Luck Magazine endorses the store, but I have yet to see some really good deals that work for me.

Michele(owner and founder) was amazing to me. We talked horses, LA fashion and non-profit work. She then helped me select an amazing Miele Bianco handbag. This boutique is well organized, has quality merch and supports community efforts. I’d highly recommend.

Diva bills itself as a fashion-forward, cutting-edge boutique(as oppose, I suppose, to the«mallish» national chain stores that dot Main St.). It is this hipper-than-thou image that has kept me out of its doors for years. Today, I finally ventured past its threshold, fallen victim to the siren call of a crisp white sundress. Somewhat to my surprise, though, it was a pleasant shopping experience(and I didn’t even end up with the white dress). The store has a small footprint, so it does not have racks and racks of the same clothes in different sizes. What it does have is an interesting selection of both casual wear and cocktail dresses. The staff is helpful and friendly. Even though I fall outside of their demographic(I’m older and *a lot* less trendy than your average Elle/Vogue/Allure reader), the staff was just as attentive to me as to the aspiring fashionistas. Although the white dress that lured me in didn’t pan out, the salesperson expertly redirected my attention to another dress that didn’t grab me on the rack, but fitted me surprisingly well. The price is definitely higher than you might find at mainstream stores, but the sales rack does offer some reasonable bargains.

Diva is the only cute/trendy boutique I could find in downtown(near the waterfront) Annapolis(unless of course you are a 50+ woman or love Lily Pulitzer). It’s a nice, open layout making it easy to pick and choose what you want to try on. A real mixed bag on labels– from BCBG and French Connection all the way up to Walter. I wish boutiques like this would choose if they were mainstream or high end instead of mixing. They had a great selection of jeans, a few really cute sweaters and dresses, a small selection of shoes and a few pieces of cute jewelery. Another plus would be that they have a men’s section… although small– a few really great items– and lots from Penguin which I always enjoy. Definitely a stop on your map if you are visiting the waterfront area.

Diva is a hip little boutique in downtown Annapolis by the waterfront. It’s a very cute store with a great selection of cutting edge fashions by Mac & Jac, Cosabella, Betsey Johnson and other high-end designers. They were having a sale when I was there on Saturday but I left empty-handed :(I don’t care much for the shopping in Annapolis but there are a few good finds like this store.
