This store has a lot of fabric, but it is so crammed and small that it is tough to pull out the bolts and plan a quilt. I wanted to see the new Berninas but only one person who is only there on Saturday can demo the machines. I will probably go back for the fabric but not for a machine.

This is great VERYLITTLE grandma quilt shop. The staff is great with cutting and folding fabric, but they have no knowledge of the sewing and embroidery machines they sell. This is not a handicap friendly store. The aisles are filled with fabric and when you first walk in, it is overwhelming. Their machine service department is hit or miss at best. If you want only fabric and know what project you want to do, then this is the store for you. If you are a novice, beginner or new to quilting and embroidery, find a bigger store, which will have the same fabrics, and get to know a staff that can teach and explain how to get started. Not a shop I will visit again.

Huge selection of fabric. Good selection of local themes. Store was difficult to maneuver due to inventory. Several, good samples quilts on display.

One of the best quilt shops in the DC metro area! Huge selection with a large variety, and staff is super friendly. Don’t come for needles or thread, but definitely stick around for the fabric! And they have classes!
